4 This competition shall be conducted under the rules of the Piping and Dancing Association of New Zealand (Inc). All competitors must be registered members 1/7/17 30/6/18 and must show current registration cards when collecting number or a further fee will be charged. The Committee reserves the right to alter the order of the programme. In the event of a tie, Rule 13 P&D applies and aggregate points will be used. Competitors must sign for trophies and the Centre Committee warns that anyone defacing trophies will have future trophies withheld. Competitors dance at their own risk. No Auckland Centre Championship or North Island Championship shall be awarded unless there are no fewer than 5 competitors and the adjudicator certifies the winner s performance was of sufficient standard to merit the award. If Championship is not held prize money and entry fees will be reduced accordingly. TEN TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS OF $25 WILL BE AWARDED TO AUCKLAND COMPETITORS WHO ENTER THE WAIPU HIGHLAND GAMES BY THE CLOSING DATE OF WAIPU ENTRIES.
