MSR TO BE PLAYED FIRST FOLLOWED IMMEDIATELY BY HP&JIG WITH TUNING TIME ALLOCATED

4 Important Information 1. Contest to be run under RSPBA rules 2. Contact Mr Paul Brown or 3. Report time for Competitors is 08.00am 4. Events to Start at 09.00am Sharp 5. Competitors must register on arrival 6. Tuning times for piping events must be adhered to 7. All competitors are restricted to their own age group (see number 8) 8. Depending on entries, playing up maybe permitted (notified at registration) 9. Playing up is permitted. Please add all information to entry form. NO COMPETITOR UNDER THE AGE OF 17 MAY PLAY IN THE OPEN GRADE 10. It is preferred that competitors in sections D1 & D2 only play up 1 section. 11. Critique sheets will NOT be issued to competitors in categories 18 YEARS & ABOVE. 12. Entry fees are non refundable 13. Closing date for Entries is SUNDAY 7 TH APRIL Alcohol is not permitted in the school ground 15. Smoking is not permitted in the school grounds 16. Classroom must be left clean and tidy 17. Canteen facilities will be available in the sports building at the front of the main school 18. Entrance for spectators will cost 5 for adults & 3.00 for children and OAPS 19. Person responsible for the classroom must accept full responsibility for any damage or missing items and may be help liable for payment to cover any costs incurred. 20. EVENT D5 Adult WSDC Qualification Heat 2 Automatic qualification places are available to the two highest placed competitors who have not already qualified. Competitors must be 18 years & over on 1 st NOVEMBER 2018 NO ENTRIES FOR EVENT D5 WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY. ALL EVENTS 18 YEARS OR ABOVE, COMPETITORS WILL NOT RECEIVE CRITIQUE SHEETS. ADJUDICATION WILL BE DONE USING A CONSULTATIVE FORMAT IF MORE THAN 1 ADJUDICATOR IS USED. Except for EVENT D5 Adult WSDC Qualification Heat, 2 RSPBA Approved Adjudicators will be used and critique sheets from both completed for each competitor. 5 ROYAL SCOTTISH PIPE BAND ASSOCIATION Dundee Perth & Angus Branch ADULT WORLD SOLO DRUMMING QUALIFICATION HEAT Information How to enter this event: Please select event D5 on the entry form, supplied by Kingdom Thistle Cost Per Entry is Competitors must be over the age of 18 Years to Enter, Competitors must be 18 years or over on 1 st November 2018 to enter. Please supply date of birth on entry form Competitors MUST Submit x2 March, Strathspey & Reels to be played without stopping. A draw will be made on the day in the room to determine which set you will play. This will be done by the RSPBA Director in attendance. Failure to meet the requirements will result in disqualification. There will be 4 automatic qualification spots available. The 4 highest placed competitors who have not already qualified will qualify for the semi final stages of the WSDC 2018 Critique sheets from both RSPBA Adjudicators for this event will be available at the end of the day for competitors taking part in Event D5.
