1 2018 Southeastern Closed Regional Championship Savannah Pre-Premier Competition USSE May 5, 2018 BETHESDA ACADEMY, SAVANNAH, GA Judges: Kelly Biduke, Nadiene Gibney, Cindy Kopenski Entries to be received by April 24, 2018 Southeast Regional Championship Information 8:00 am Saturday, May 5 th *2018 SOBHD Championship Steps required for all dances: Fling, Sword, Sean Truibhas, Strathspey & Half Tulloch. *Registration 8:00 am. Dancing starts 8:30 am *Age for the Southeastern Region Closed Championship is as of July 15, 2018 *Championship is closed to FUSTA Southeast Region. You must be born in or reside in the Southeast Region to be eligible. *The first three winners (more for those categories with dancers holding a bye from USIR 2017) will be expected to represent the Southeast Region at the United States Inter-Regional Championship to be held in Gettysburg, PA July 25-29, *If you qualify as a representative and are unable to attend, please notify Elaine Burgin, elaine.burgin@gmail.com, before May 20 th, 2018 *2017 Trophy Winners please return your trophy before morning registration. Per the FUSTA Code of Ethics, participants are responsible to maintain trophies and return them in the same conditions as received. Participants who do not adhere to the above will be subject to a penalty to be decided by the Board. Pre-Premier Competition Information Approximately 12:30 pm Saturday, May 5 th * Pre-Premier Registration 11:00 am *Dancing will conform to SOBHD rules. *The decision of the Adjudicators are final. *Age is computed as of day before competition. *Last to enter, first to compete. *All dancers must show 2018 FUSTA/ScotDance card at time of registration. *All age groups will be split according to entries. We need each teacher to suggest parents from their dance school to help in 2 hour slots throughout the day, either in the AM or PM. Be respectful of the privacy of others and do not video tape the other dancers. Please do not post videos online of dancers without their or their parent s permission. Please bring your own seating.
