1 2013 GREAT LAKES REGIONAL FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS SKATETOWN USA 8730 North Pavillion Drive, West Chester, OH Ph: Dear Skaters, Coaches, and Parents, March 29, 2013 The Skatetown USA Management and Staff, and the Great Lakes Regional Board would like to invite all competitors, Parents, Officials, Coaches & Spectators to the 2013 GREAT LAKES REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS to be held June 22nd to June 23, 2013 at the Skatetown USA Skate Center.. Our skating surface is 90' x 190'. We have many motels and restaurants located close to the rink. Breakfast and lunch specials daily at the rink. There will not be a charge for personal videos however please note there will be no electrical hookups available. Pets are not permitted in the rink. We hope to make your stay with us a pleasant one. 3 20 13 GREAT LAKES REGIONAL FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT COMPLETING FORMS ALL SKATERS MUST BE LISTED ON THE NATIONAL AMT CARD LIST BEFORE ENTERING THE REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 1. EACH SKATER WILL NEED TO FILL OUT AN ENTRY FORMTHIS YEAR. All names MUST be listed as the name was sent in on the amateur card list,. NO NICKNAMES are acceptable such as for William. 2. If you have team skaters from a split club, EACH CLUB must send in an entry for the skaters involved. You can not list skaters from another club on your entry sheet. Please include the partners name and club in the space provided. 3. Creative Solo Free Dance skaters MUST have their TITLE on the entry forms to be entered in their event. 4. Please print your address clearlyb we will be using it to send your club entry confirmation for you to check the spelling and events for your skaters. 7 NOTES 1. We will be skating two unofficial Regional Events this year. These events DO NOT qualify a skater for Nationals. They will be Tiny Tot Co-ed Figures and Tiny Tot Co-ed Free Skating. Skaters will need an Amt. Card and must be listed on the USA-RS National Amt card list. Skaters 5 and under must send an Amt card form into the National office even though they do not need to pay a fee. Open to skaters six (6) years and under. Free Skating maximum time 2 minutes Figures will be # 1 and # 1B Tiny Tot Co-ed Figures and Tiny Tot Co-ed Free Skating will be a final event. 2. All music must be on CDs. Cassette tapes are no longer accepted 3. Practice Rink Castle Skateland, Loveland Ohio, will be offering practice time during the Championships. Times will be available at the Check-In area. 4. Effective this year C events will not qualify for the National Championships. 5. Coaches who are not listed on the National Coaches Member List will be required to admission fees and will not have pit or floor privileges.
