All participating riders will be invited to line up in front of the spectators for introduction before course walk and the start of the competition. The Wrinklies Rice Bowl Trophy will be awarded to the winner at the End of Season Celebration Dinner at the Arena Room, the New Club House around 6:30 p.m. on 3 June 2018 (Sun). COMPETITION 4 The LONGINES Fancy Dress Team Relay Articles: Art. 239 and cm 325m/min Riders per Team: 3 Fancy Dress HK$ per team & a special prize to the team with best costume Prize Money to winning team ($800) Requests: A Team Name & special theme costumes are required for each participating team A guessing game on the winning team will be hosted for this class. All participating teams with team names will be invited to line up in front of the spectators for introduction before course walk and the start of the competition

4 COMPETITION 5 The LONGINES Jumping Class with two rounds Yes, as stated on the HKEF website Articles: Art , and Art st Round: Not against the clock 2nd Round: Against the clock Jump-off: No Jump-off 105 cm 350 m/min Horses which have already competed in 120 cm or above classes during the current season are not allowed to start in this class. HK$ Prize money (1 st $1,000, 2 nd $800, 3 rd $600) A LONGINES Master Collection worth HK$16,000 will be awarded to the winner of this class A guessing game on the winner will be hosted for this class. All participating riders will be invited to line up in front of the spectators for introduction before course walk and the start of the competition

5 COMPETITION 6 CSI1* Grand Prix / The LONGINES Grimshaw Plate (Competition Against the Clock one round with jump off) / Youth Olympic Games Qualifier Yes, as stated on the HKEF website Articles: Art Jump-off: one 120 cm 350 m/min Horses which have already competed in Competition 5 are not allowed to start in this class. HK$ Prize money (HK$10,000) All athletes taking part in this CSI1* Grand Prix must attend the horse inspection and technical meeting scheduled on 27 April, 2018 (Friday) afternoon. All Athletes taking part in a Grand Prix at a CSI must have completed, with their Grand Prix Horse, the training session scheduled on 27 April, 2018 (Friday) after the horse inspection and technical meeting. If an Athlete/Horse combination has completed the initial round of an FEI Competition prior to the Grand Prix, and the Athlete is subsequently eliminated or disqualified from the Competition in question, the Athlete may take part in the Grand Prix (if qualified), with the same Horse, as the Horse is deemed to have fulfilled the eligibility requirement of completing the initial round of an FEI Competition prior to the Grand Prix. Other details can be referred to the FEI approved schedule for the CSI1* Hong Kong on 28 April, Grimshaw Plate A LONGINES Master Collection worth HK$16,000 will also be awarded to the winner of this class The Grimshaw Plate will be awarded to the winner at the End of Season Celebration at the New Arena Room, the New Club House at around 6:30 p.m. on 3 June 2018 (Sun)

6 V. PRIZE AND PRIZE GIVINGS and Prizes for the best 33% as described under each competition. There will be a mounted prize giving for Jumping Competitors immediately following each competition no. 1 4 and one combined prize giving for competition no. 5 & 6. All riders must be presented in riding jacket for the prize giving. However, perpetual Trophies (Wrinklies Rice Bowl and the Grimshaw Plate) will be awarded at the End-of-Season Celebration Dinner at the Arena Room, the New Club House around 6:30p.m. on the 3 rd June VI. PARTICIPATION Number of entries Minimum 3 per class VII. ENTRIES Closing Date for entries: Entry Closing Late Entry Charge Date: 25 April :00 n.n. (Wed) 100% extra Entry Cancellation Entries cancelled after closing time must be verified with a Veterinary Certificate or Medical Certificate for a refund. VIII. END-OF-SEASON CELEBRATION DINNER An End-Of-Season Celebration Dinner will be held on the 3 June, 2018 (Sunday) after the Dressage Horse of the Year Show at the Arena Room, New Club House, Beas River Country Club. Cost will be HK$400 per person for the buffet. A cash bar will be available for drinks. All are welcome. The Horse of the Year Perpetual Trophies will be awarded at this event. Pre-registration via on or before 21 May, 2018 (Monday) 6:00 p.m. is requested. All competitors of HKEF Horse of the Year Show, including Dressage Horse of the Year Show, Eventing Horse of the Year Show as well as the Jumping Horse of the Year Show will enjoy 50% discount on the dinner buffet. Their participation confirms their acknowledgement that in case of an accident during the event or a training session they disclaim the enactment of any civil rights which may arise against other athletes participating in the event or the training session

7 The OC/HKEF is not responsible for the following liabilities: Any injuries, diseases, and accidents to the horses, athletes and officials in the time of transportation and during the competition period. Any loss or damages to any third party caused by the participating riders and horses in the time of transportation and during the competition period. 3. EVENT'S ORGANISATION (HKEF Rules Art. 101) The OC, with the permission of the President of Ground Jury, reserves the right to modify the schedule in order to clarify any matters or matters arising from an omission or due to unforeseen circumstances. All modifications made to the schedule prior to the event must have the approval of the President of HKEF (or his authorized representative).
