BCHSA is the primary associa on for the Caves Farm compe on and will uphold the 2018 BCHSA Rulebook. 2. As per Maryland state requirements, ALL horses and ponies must present a nega ve Coggins at the Show Office before numbers are issued. 3. Please fax or have both the BCHSA Vaccina on Record and the Equine Exhibitors Self Cer fica on of Animal Health available at me of entry pick-up (available on the BCHSA.org downloads page). All horses and ponies are required to have both forms in order to compete. 4. All dogs must be leashed AT ALL TIMES. 5. All riders must wear protec ve headgear passing ASTM-SEI standards, with harnesses secured, when mounted on the show grounds. 6. Management reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, including but not limited to: class loca ons, addi- ons, cancella ons and combina ons. 7. Stallions are not permi ed on the show grounds. Points of Interest Why are some divisions running twice? These divisions are not compa ble across the four associa ons a ending the show. There are various rules that each associa on has that make the divisions different enough that they need to be run separately (i.e., Long S rrup Equita on has different age limits). Since BCHSA is the primary associa on, there are a few of those incompa ble divisions that are not being offered a second me at this show. BCHSA Classic - The Low Children/Low Adult Amateur Hunter Classic, Children/Adult Amateur Hunter Classic and Pony Hunter Classic will all be offered at this show. Please see BCHSA Rule Book for complete details and guidelines. Caves Farm will run the tradi onal divisions as open card jumping rounds and will keep a running numerical score from the first classic round (the second class of the division, denoted by an * on the prize list). The top twelve scores from the first round will be called back to compete in the second Classic round. Water and Drag breaks will be scheduled and well announced throughout the day of the show, at the discre on of show management based upon weather and foo ng needs. The unjudged warm-up will only be available for Ring One and Ring Two. Direc ons to Caves Farm s Horse Trailer Entrance Park Heights Avenue, Owings Mills, MD From 695 N: Take Exit 21 - Stevenson Road, turn LEFT at the end of the ramp and then take the first RIGHT onto Brooks Robinson Road. Follow to the traffic light and turn RIGHT onto Park Heights Avenue. Con nue 2 miles. Go straight through the stop sign at 4-way stop of Caves Road and Park Heights Avenue and go 1/2 mile to entrance on LEFT at Park Heights Avenue. From 695 S: Take Exit 21 - MD 129, Park Heights Avenue. Turn LEFT on Park Heights Avenue. Con nue 2 miles. Go straight through the stop sign at 4-way stop of Caves Road and Park Heights Avenue and go 1/2 mile to entrance on LEFT at Park Heights Avenue. From Westminster: Take 140E, turn LEFT on MD 128N/Butler Road (Butler Road becomes Worthington Avenue which becomes Greenspring Avenue), turn RIGHT on Garrison Forest Road, turn LEFT on Park Heights Avenue, entrance is on the RIGHT 1.2 miles past the 4-way stop for Park Heights and Walnut Avenue.
