2 Condi ons of Entry Insurance: It is mandatory that ALL handlers, riders or drivers whom are not named on a Pinto Assoc Inc. membership must complete and forward with their entries the par cipant risk waiver and indemnity form together with $10 per rider/handler fee. Failure to submit this form and fees will result in the entries not being accepted & returned. Registra ons: All exhibits entered into breed classes must be registered or recorded with the relevant breed society of South Australia or an interstate equivalent at the me of placing entries. Pending registra ons, recordings or transfers will NOT be accepted and entries will be returned. Interstate exhibitors must forward a photocopy of the exhibits current registra on or recording cer ficate with the entries. Membership: All exhibitors entering into breed classes must be members of the relevant breed society of South Australia or an interstate equivalent at the me of placing entries. Pending memberships will NOT be accepted and entries will be returned. Interstate members must forward a photocopy of their current membership card with the entries. Refunds & Scratchings: Refunds will only be given if the show is cancelled by the commi ee of the Pinto Associa on of SA Inc. Or a vet cer ficate of unsoundness or death is provided to the commi ee at the me of the scratching. All scratchings must be given to the show secretary or the ring steward prior to the show or event commencing. Transfers: The transferring or swapping of exhibits and events a er closing date will not be allowed. Colts: In accordance with the rules of the Pinto Associa on of South Australia Inc. All colts must be handled by a competent person 15yrs and over whom the owner agrees to take full responsibility for. All colts 2yrs and over are to be bi ed. Exhibit Discipline: We remind everyone to remember & please respect that there are many forms of horse mastership, management & training used within the industry. Although we may not agree with each others methods it is an individual choice. We understand livestock may need to be reprimanded from me to me and that it cannot be put off un l back at the float, behind a tree, later in the day or at home, so we request that whip use and other forms of reprimand is kept to a minimum as some people may become offended or upset by what they see or do not fully understand. Judging & Behaviour: The judges decisions on the day are final and are not to be challenged by any member, handler or spectator. If you do not like the judges choices it is your choice to con nue to compete or elect to re re from further compe on. We request that you refrain from vocalising your opinion in the ring or at ringside. Any abusive, offensive or nuisance behaviour or language will not be tolerated nor will the throwing of awards on the ground. Offending persons will be asked to leave the area and the disrup on may result in further disciplinary ac on. Alcohol / Drugs: Be aware, understand & acknowledge the dangers associated with the consump on of alcohol or mind altering drugs prohibited by law, whilst in transit to, from & during this event. Entries will only be accepted on the condi on & trust that full responsibility is taken by the signatore, of any persons who are in charge of their exhibits, employed by the signatore or any other persons connected to said membership which may result in any death, injury, loss or damage associated with the consump on of alcohol or drugs. Intoxica on and inappropriate behaviour as a result of either will result in the instant removal of the person from the area or grounds and the police being called for assistance as required. Ambulance / Medical: All costs and fees associated with any prescribed medica on, medical assistance, ambulance a endance & travel, medical consults, treatments, x rays, scans, tests or hospitalisa on will be the full responsibility of the signatore for any persons whom are in charge of their exhibits, employed by the signatore or any other persons connected to said membership. Protests: All protests must be lodged with the show secretary in wri ng, signed and dated by the members signatory together with a fee of $100 within 20mins of the protest incident. Protests will be forwarded to the protest commi ee which will be made up of not less than three pinto Assoc. of SA Inc.

3 commi ee members. This commi ee has the right to defer any decision to the next available commi ee mee ng to give further me to gather all correct facts before determining a resolu on. Indemnity: The Pinto Assoc. of SA Inc. has endeavoured to and taken every care in providing a safe & happy environment for all persons and animals a ending the show. Ac vi es such as these may be considered dangerous. The ac ons of persons and/or livestock are not always predictable, unfortunately accidents or incidents may occur as a result of their ac ons causing injury, loss, damage, trauma or death. All Persons, livestock & property are the responsibility of the membership holder who takes full liability. The membership holder must direct all persons whom are in charge of their exhibits, employed by or are represen ng them or any other persons connected to said membership to follow all rules and behave appropriately at all mes. The membership holder must take full responsibility to make sure that their exhibits or livestock are handled in a safe and secure manner at all mes and the ac ons of their exhibits, handlers, riders, associates are not pu ng any risk to any other persons, livestock, property or vehicles a ending this event. The Pinto Associa on of SA Inc. will not take any responsibility or be accountable for any accidents or incidents occurring on the grounds for the dura on of the event or whilst travelling to or from the venue. In the event of any lawsuit coming from any incident or accident during the weekend The Pinto Associa on of SA Inc. will direct it to be dealt with via the civil court between those directly involved. We ask that everyone be respec ul of the venue and facili es and request that you clean the area of manure (horse & dog) hay string, food scraps, cans and general rubbish from around your camp, parking, stabling site before leaving the ground. Please fill any holes which your exhibits may have dug. We request you all help us keep this event safe by being careful and remaining vigilant at all mes. Use cau on whilst moving vehicles around the venue and observe the 10kph speed limits. Livestock, elderly, children & inexperienced persons will be present and all can be unpredictable. Hot Weather Policy: If the weather report on the BOM is repor ng temperatures of above 36 degrees for the show day, the show will be rescheduled to a later date. Some behaviour related to being a green horse may be overlooked at the Judge s discre on. Walk/Trot horses are horses unable to canter, and are not eligible to enter/compete in Open classes Walk/Trot Gradua on This is a trial class for horses that are considering compe ng as an Open horse. It is graded as a Pass/ Fail, not usual placings. To pass, the horse should be able to demonstrate a good canter on both leads. Once a horse obtains 3 Passes, they should move on to open classes. There is no limit on the number of mes you can enter a gradua on class if the horse does not obtain a Pass grade.
