2 Hack & Led Classes (Judged by same judge) These classes will be judged in the camp draft arena. Junior riders to present to the judge at some stage to complete these classes between am Senior riders to present between am GEAR CHECK: Is to be completed prior to EACH dressage test and hack class. Hot Weather We have made the decision to start the event early to ensure the health and wellbeing of riders and horses due to the predicted hot weather. Please note: The primary responsibility for the welfare of horses competing and exercising during hot weather lies with the rider of the horse. Riders must always take action to prevent, manage and treat heat stress in their horses. Signs of heat stress include Rapid breathing Flared nostrils Staggering, apparently uncontrollable gait High body temperature Agitated and distressed Irrational behaviour Occasionally collapse

3 Riders are to keep warm-up to a minimum; stop working if the horse is excessively sweating or showing signs of heat stress; and cool down horses at the wash bay immediately after the ride (wash and sweat scrap down). Horses are to have free access to drinking water. If riders are choosing to wear jackets, they are to put them on only just prior to entering the arena and remove them after the conclusion of their test. Riders are to drink plenty of water.

If you are unable to do the job you have been assigned please organise for a replacement person to do your job and notify the organising committee ASAP.
