Equality of scores will be separated as per handbook of Bylaws. Dressage Bylaw 38.2 GRADES 1-4, Tests C and E GRADE 5, Test C and D Fees Dressage: Pony Club Riders: $20 each dressage test Open Riders: $25 each dressage test (plus $10 day participant) SHOWJUMPING CHAMPIONSHIPS Sunday 3rd September 2017 Pony Club Grades A B C D E & F and OPEN A,B,C,D & E (NO OPEN F GRADE) Ribbons to 6th place and High Point Award in each grade THE RON NIXON MEMORIAL SHIELD will be presented to the best combination in Pony Club Grade A, B, C. The winners name will be inscribed on shield and will be kept at the Moyhu Pony Club rooms (minimum no. of competitors in grade to be eligible) Championship scoring used. Show jumping Bylaw 38.3a Grades A, B, C Article Two Phase, All competitors remain in the ring and commence the Table a jump off against the clock. 3 Catering Open Saturday and Sunday for lunch, snacks, tea, coffee, soft drinks. Open for breakfast from 7am Sunday. CAMPING AND ENTRIES Camping fees $10 per vehicle to be paid with the entry fee Horse Yards $10 per horse yard to be paid with the entry fee (limited number) Entries Entries close 5pm, 27 th August 2017 Entries via online only: Copy of receipt of payment must accompany the entry form OPEN RIDERS PLEASE NOTE: ALL participants in an Open competition, Including Pony Club Members, must sign a Public Liability Declaration Form. Participants do not need to complete the day participant waiver (lower portion of form) or pay the $10 day participants fee. IF they are a current member of PCAV, HRCAV EA/EV, Interstate Pony Club, AHSA, AERA, SHCA BUT proof of current membership must be either ed in advance or shown to the Secretary s Office prior to competing. Bridle, saddle numbers The organising committee will pre-allocate and advise competitor number. Competitors must supply their own numbers. Portable yards Must be of solid constructions as per PCAV Handbook of Bylaws. Late Entries If accepted will occur a late fee of $20 per horse. Draw Draws will be posted on website:

4 Conditions of Entry 1. Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgements that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules. 2. More than one horse may be ridden subject to the conditions of PCAV Handbook of By-Laws multiple horse rule. The organizing committee may accept none, one or more of the entries at its sole discretion. 3. No refunds after the closing date except with a vet or medical certificate. 4. PCAV membership cards must be presented to the secretaries office before riding. The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel any event, alter any times or refuse any entry with or without reason. Neither the organizing committee of this event, Moyhu Pony Club nor the PCAV accept any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses or riders, ground spectators or any other persons or property. 5. Medical armbands must be worn by all competitors (applies to pony club and open sections) 6. Correct standards numbered helmet must be worn as specified in PCAV Gear Rules. Spot checks may occur and incorrect helmet will mean elimination of rider. 7. Uniform: All pony club members must wear pony club uniform. 8. All non-pony club open riders must wear correct uniform Cream/fawn jodhpurs, fawn moleskins, white shirt, tie and coat OR HRCAV Uniform. 9. Queries, protests and Horse abuse rules apply as per PCAV Handbook of By-Laws. 10. Horses must be at least 4 years old, no stallions, colts or rigs. 11. PCAV Alcohol Policy applies. 12. No dogs allowed. 13. Payment by direct debit to Moyhu Pony Club. BSB: Account No: Lunging will not be available. 15. Open competition - will only be conducted if sufficient entries (6). If excessive entries are received in any sections the C.O.M. has the sole discretion to refuse entries. Open riders will follow PC riders in each event.
