Held at Birch Creek - details coming Directions to the Shoot To get to the shoot you go 11 miles north of Dillon, MT. on I-15 to the Apex exit, then go 12 miles west up Birch Creek to Charles Hine Campground the site of registration and the start of the Shoot. Watch for signs. - Maverick Mountain 3D Shoot (weekend after Father's Day) Maverick Mnt. Shoot will be held at Maverick Mnt. ski hill. 80 targets, 4 runs, 2 sides (A&B) shoot one side per day. 3 runs ride the lift to midway on the mnt. 1 run walks from the lodge. This is an all weather shoot so come prepared. You do not have to shoot both days - only if you want to qualify for the trophies. You can register for both events, (only shoot once and scores count for both events) or just one. Montana Archery Association Statewide - Montana State Field Archery Shoot Host: Thompson Falls Archers Registration is from 8:00-9:00 and shooting begins at 9:30. This is a two day shoot, with one round each day. You will be flighted on Sunday, and must shoot in your designated group to be eligible for awards. State 3D Championship - Host: Black Otter Bowmen This is a two day shoot, FORMAT: Saturday will be a 28 Field round. Sunday will be 14 Hunter targets and 14 Animal. Montana Bowhunters Association Statewide 2018 Carp Safari - The Montana Bowhunters Association will host the 15th Annual Canyon Ferry Carp Safari on 10, 2017 on Canyon Ferry Lake, east of Helena. Weigh-in and the awards ceremony will be staged at the Hellgate Campground Group Use Area. The competition runs from first light until 5:00 pm, with prizes to be awarded for largest fish, smallest fish, and most fish (by count) in youth and adult categories. Hamburgers, chips and beverages will be available after the shoot for registered participants and spectators.
