2 The Royal Spanish Fencing Federación, Fencing Federation of Castilla León and Sala de Esgrima Burgos, have the honour to invite you for Event: Individual XXI Junior World Cup Ciudad de Burgos Women s Epee individual Date: December 15th, 2018 Venue: Polideportivo José Luis Talamillo C/ Victoria Balfe s/n Burgos (City plan available at the organization web site - see bellow) Entries: Open to all fencers with valid FIE License. No fencer is allowed to take part in an official event of the FIE unless he or she is at least 13 years old on 1 January in the year of the competition. Fencers taking part in all the official FIE Junior competitions, individual or team, must be under 20 years old at midnight on 31st December of the year preceding the year in which the competition takes place (cf o.80). Entries of fencers, teams and referees can only be made at the FIE website, respecting the deadlines specified in the FIE Rules (cf. o.54). Participation: Each national federation may enter a maximum of 12 fencers. The organising country may enter up to 20 fencers plus the number needed to make up the pools.

3 Contest: Epee women. Formula: One qualifying round of pools, a direct elimination table to qualify for a final by direct elimination (cf. o.35-o.41). Inscriptions: Following FIE rules, only through FIE site available, 7 days before the competition at latest. Video and National flags parade 20:00 Semifinals 21:00 Medalls and closing ceremony Two buses will be provided by the organiser from the venue (Polideportivo José Luis Talamillo) to the semifinal-final site at 18:30. Entry fee: according with the FIE rules 25, to be paid at registration before de start of the competition. Referees: According to the FIE rules, the referees must be provided by the teams for the competition as follows: 1 to 4 fencers No obligation to provide referee 5 to 9 fencers 1 referee 10 or more fencers 2 referees Doping Control: Will be carried out according to FIE rules.

Formula: Integral direct elimination with a direct elimination table, which may be incomplete. All places in the table up to 16th place will be fought for. From 17th place onwards teams will be classified, within each round of the table, according to their initial place in the table. The first four teams will be placed in the direct elimination table according to the current official team ranking of the FIE (cf. o.86); the remaining ranked teams will be

6 placed in the table by drawing of lots in pairs. The teams that are not classified will occupy the last places in the table, and will be separated by drawing of lots (cf. o.42-o.47). Entry fee: according with the FIE rules 150 to be paid at registration before the start of the competition. Inscriptions: Following FIE rules, only through FIE site available, 7 days before the competition at latest.
