3 6. Equipment : Athlete can check their weapons on the day of the competition from am onwards. All equipment must be passed for weapons testing and marked by organizer before they can be used in the competition. Kindly note it is COMPULSORY for all participants to wear UNDERPLASTRONS. 7. Competition Management: (a) Formula: no exempted fencers for both men s and women s. 1 round of pools to eliminate 20 30% of fencers, then direct elimination table. Two medals for the 3rd place (b) Directoire de Technique (DT) The DT shall be responsible for the technical organization of the competition. The members shall by appointed by the host country. The decision of the DT shall be final. (c) Protests Appeals against decisions of a referee should be immediately made by the competitors or their team captains to the referee, before any decision is made regarding a subsequent hit. If the referee should maintain his decision, the complaint shall be brought to the attention of the DT. 8. Prizes: (a) Medal and diploma will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, joint bronzes will also be awarded. (b) The 5th 8th places will be presented diploma.

4 9. General information: Currency: Unit of currency in the Thai baht (THB). Foreign currency can be exchanged freely at banks, hotels, the airport and most big shopping malls. Current exchange rate is approximately ThB35 baht to US$1.00. Major credit cards are widely accepted in most establishments. Weather & Dress: The weather has a raining and hot climate around this time with a daily average temperature range of C. Light clothing is the best for everyday wear. Electricity: The Thai voltage is volts AC, 50 Hz. 11. Map: Gymnasium 6, Thammasat University Rangsit Campus, Patumtani Thailand There will be 3 gymnasium located in order. Gymnasium 6 will be on the right near by the Chiangrak1 gate. For those with private car can travel to gymnasium 6 by coming through Chiangrak1 gate (TU Gate) on Chiangrak road.
