3 Participants: Each national federation may enter a maximum of 12 fencers. The organising country may enter up to 20 fencers plus the number needed to make up the poules. Entry: Open to all fencers with valid FIE license. No fencer is allowed to take part in an official event of the FIE unless he or she is at least 13 years old on 1 st January in the year of the competition. Fencers taking part in all the official FIE Junior competitions, individual or team, must be under 20 years old at midnight on 31 st December of the year preceding the year in which the competition take place (cf. o.80). Entries of fencers, teams and referees can only be made at the FIE web site, respecting the deadlines specified in the FIE rules (cf. o.54): 7 days before the competition at the latest (midnight Lausanne time). Entry fee: Individual competition: 25, to be paid at the organizer at the moment of registration. Referees: Participating countries must be accompanied by referee with FIE A, B or P licenses as bellow (cf. t35). Delegations not respecting the quota must pay a fine of per referee. 1 to 4 fencers No obligation to provide referee 5 to 9 fencers 1 referee 10 or more fencers 2 referees Formula: One qualifying round of poules, a direct elimination table to qualify for a final by direct elimination (cf. o.35 o.41). Doping Control: Will be carried out according to the FIE rules.

5 IV Junior World Cup Ciudad de Segovia Women s Sabre Team Event Event: Team competition Women s Sabre Date: Sunday January 21th, 2018 Venue: Pabellón Polideportivo Pedro Delgado Damaso Alonso str. s/n Segovia (City plan available at the organization web site - see bellow) Participants: Team participation is open to all countries and limited to one team per weapon per country. Entry: Open to all fencers with valid FIE license. For team entries, the names of the fencers making up the teams may be changed, by informing the organisers, up to the day before the competition, at the latest at the end of the quarter finals of the individual competition. However, a replacement can be made after this stage, and at

6 the latest at the end of the individual event, in the case of injury or illness duly certified by the competition medical doctor. Entry fee: Team competition: 150, to be paid at the organizer at the moment of registration. Formula: Integral direct elimination with a direct elimination table, which may be incomplete. All places in the table up to 16 th place will be fought for. From 17 th place onwards, teams will be classified, within each round of the table, according to their initial place in the table. The first four teams will be placed in the direct elimination table according to the current official team ranking of the FIE (cf. o.86); the remaining ranked teams will be placed in the table by drawing of lots of pairs. The teams that are not classified will occupy the last places in the table, and will be separated by drawing of lots (cf. o.42 o.47).
