1 EDEN CUP Women's Junior (U20) Foil Individual Event FIE Category 'A' The Eden Cup is open to all female foilists, foreign and British nationals possessing a current FIE Licence and born on or after 1 January 1998, who are selected by their National Federations in accordance with the FIE quota for entries to A Grade events. Please note: the venue is in east London. Transport to central London (Oxford Circus) takes 40 minutes by TFL underground and DLR trains. 1) Date: Saturday 3 rd November ) Venue: SportsDock, University of East Docklands Campus, University Way, E16 2RD The nearest station is Cyprus (DLR, Beckton branch). If coming from London Heathrow airport: take the Piccadilly underground line to Green Park. Change on to the Jubilee Line (eastbound trains to Stratford).Change at Canning Town on to the DLR. Take a Beckton train to reach the venue. If coming from London Stansted airport: take the Stansted Express train to Tottenham Hale station. Change there to the Victoria underground line (southbound trains to Brixton).At Green Park change to Jubilee Line (eastbound trains to Stratford).Change at Canning Town on to the DLR. Take a Beckton train to reach the venue. If coming from London Gatwick airport: take the Gatwick Express train to London Victoria station and change there to the District underground line (eastbound to Upminster). Change at Westminster to the Jubilee Line (eastbound trains to Stratford).Change at Canning Town on to the DLR. Take a Beckton train to reach the venue. 3) Organisers: British Fencing. 4) Entries: To the FIE in accordance with the current rules (o.56) by the fencer s National Federation. 5) Entry Fee: The entry fee of 25 must be paid on arrival. 6) Formula: The competition will be fenced according to the official FIE formula.

Saturday 3 rd November 07.30: Doors open 09.15: Weapon Control at the venue 11.00: Last reporting time 11.30: Start of event Sunday U23 Event (London Cup) For reglements please see separate sheet 8) Doping: Control will be carried out. 9) Publicity: The FIE Publicity Code will be strictly enforced. 10) FIE Rules: The Competition will run in accordance with the FIE Rules for Competitions. The Directoire Technique will, however, reserve the right to decide, without right of appeal, on any issues not covered by the FIE Rules or by these Rules. 11) Referees: Each country is required to send referees in accordance with FIE requirements (Rules o.25). The names of referees must be entered via the FIE. (With 5-9 fencers 1 FIE Referee must be sent, 10 or more fencers requires 2 FIE Referees to be sent.) 12) Accommodation: Booking accommodation is the responsibility of the visiting teams.
