5 Yudo Concepts & Terminology Concepts 1. Yudo is a tactile defense system based on the principal of using the opponent s own force against them, (i.e.) pull to their push &push to their pull. Using their lack of balance to execute your throw. 2. The way of reading your opponents weakness is threefold, A. Prediction, we can predict that if our opponent is leaning forward and we pull down they will go down. B. Feeling, we can feel that as our opponent is leaning forward their balance is diminished and if we pull they will go down. C.
