The 14 th Annual Sacramento State Karate Tournament will be on June 9, The tournament will be held on Saturday at Cosumnes College. We will be running 5 rings running this year again. I hope that every participant and spectator will bring with them the feeling of dedication and respect that has made traditional tournaments so enjoyable and fulfilling. Please mark your calendar. We as martial artists must stand together to make this world a better place through the true spirit of Karate-Do. I have also invited other schools from around the United States to raise the caliber of competition and excitement at this year s tournament. Elite competitors who have placed in the WKF & WKC World Championships, Pan American Games, and International events will be participating. Last year the 5 Man team kumite division was very exciting. I am hoping that your school will participate again this year. The team that wins will be awarded with a Beautiful Cup to each team member. On behalf of the IKF, we would like to thank all the instructors and participants for your support for the past 14 years on making this a very successful tournament. Without your help karate would not be the great sport that it is today. For all officials please use the proper attire (i.e. blue suit, gray slacks and tie). The tournament will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. sharp.
