6 FRASER SHORES MARYBOROUGH SPEEDWAY RULES, REGULATIONS and GERERAL INFO WARNING NOTICE Motor racing is dangerous. It is a condition of admission that spectators and all persons attending this meeting do so entirely at their own risk. All persons, corporations, clubs and associations having any connection with the promotion or conduct of the meeting, including the owners and occupiers of the land and the drivers and owners of the vehicles, are absolved from liability or damage to spectators and all other persons at the meeting, no matter whether for negligence or as occupier or on any other basis and no matter whether such injury or damage be foreseeable or howsoever such injury or damage be caused. PATRONS MUST ENTER GROUNDS AT THEIR OWN RISK. INDEMNIFICATION The promoters shall not be held responsible to any person or persons, company or syndicate, for injuries sustained by any person, person and / or personnel. Nor will they (the Promoters) accept responsibility for the damage to any property what so ever, regardless of whom it belongs. This also covers the loss of properties. FLAG AND LIGHT SIGNALS GREEN FLAG / LIGHT Racing is go. YELLOW FLAG / LIGHT Caution, slow down. RED FLAG / LIGHT Danger, stop ASAP CHEQUERED FLAG Race completed FOOD There is several food and drink outlets situated surrounding the track. A wide variety of hot and cold food is available for purchase, as well as hot and cold drinks. ALCOHOL The Maryborough Speedway is strictly a NO B.Y.O. track. Management and security reserve the right upon entrance to the venue to inspect bags, eskies or containers for the presence of alcohol. Alcohol is available for purchase at the Black Flag Bar which is located in turns three & four (the yellow building on the hill). RESTROOM FACILITIES Men s and ladies toilet facilities are available in both the pits and the public areas. The restroom facilities behind the main canteen and bar offer toilets, showers and change rooms. FIRST AID Queensland Ambulance Officers/paramedics will be available during this event. First Aid boxes are also available at the Main Canteen, Black Flag Bar and the Control Tower. EVENT CANCELLATION Should it be deemed necessary, whether due to inclement weather, mechanical or electrical malfunctions or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the promoter s control, to cancel the event before the SIXTH event, pass-out tickets for the very next race meeting will be issued. No money will be refunded under any circumstance. SMOKING Fraser Shores Maryborough Speedway's grounds are non-smoking areas as they are specified "Outdoor Eating/Drinking Areas". We do have a number designated smoking areas around the grounds where food/drink cannot be consumed. Please look for the orange banners. Whilst our security guards police this policy as best they can, we do appreciate your assistance in this matter by smoking ONLY in the designated smoking areas of the grounds. These Smoking areas can be found at the Bar, behind the Grandstand area of turns 3 & 4, fenced areas at the top of turns 1 & 2. Please note - Smoking is NOT permitted in the pit area and race track or in the seating areas. PIT AREA RESTRICTION Unfortunately, we must restrict access to the pits unless you have pit insurance. We welcome you to look at the cars and talk to the drivers prior to the race meeting commencing, but we must ask that you refrain from this area once the racing has begun. Dress code for the pit area requires that closed shoes must be worn. If you want to gain access to the pits during a race meeting, you can purchase a One Day Pit Licence through Speedway Australia from the front gate for only $15.00 ages 17+ only. INSURANCE CARD must be presented for proof of insurance (Ages 10 to 12 MUST be actively competing in the race meeting) - Children 9 and under - NO ENTRY under any circumstances..no insurance card, NO ENTRY Please remember these are our track insurance rulings and there are no exceptions to this ruling The Pit Area is an alcohol and smoking free zone at all times
