1 GPMC NEWS The Greater Pittsburgh Mustang Club Newsletter Visit our website at Volume 29 Issue 7 July, 2014 Next Meeting Wednesday, July 2, at Moon Township Park Dear Fellow Mustang enthusiasts, Board Meeting 7:00 pm, General Meeting 7:30 pm Charlyn and I assured the club a rain free cruising season. After a monsoon season in Charlotte for the 50th Mustang birthday bash with a very leaky top we invested in a new top. So, no more rain right? Friday the 13 th we had our club service night at the Starlite Car Cruise at Northway Church. Rain threatened but did not arrive. We had a big turnout of members and enjoyed looking at the trucks and jeeps. August 22 nd is Mustang night at Starlite and we should have another big turnout for the club and we can ooh and ah over a lot of the regions great Mustangs. We are cruising right through June and have some exciting upcoming events. Our All Ford Power show at Shults Ford in Harmarville is June 22 nd and is an important charity event for the club. Hope you attend and pitch in for a fun Ford powered day in the sun. Can Am cruise weekend is June and is sponsored this year by our sister club, the Mahoning Valley Mustang Club in Youngstown, Ohio. We have participated in Can Am since joining the club and have always found friendship, shared interests and fun cruising to be what we were looking for when we joined. So come on out and join in the fun. Our next club meeting is at Moon Park, in Moon Township, Wednesday, July 2nd. Jen B. has already put excellent directions on the Club website. Dwight H. (activities director) is planning cruising activities so if you have ideas jump in and suggest them. Some of our newest members, like Tim B., have been big contributors to great events, so don t be shy! I only covered a few of the upcoming events so look forward to participating in the full cruising season. Let s play with (yes working on them is fun too), and most importantly, drive those Mustangs. Mark M.
