2 Minutes of April 10, 2013 General Membership Meeting JA Harley, Secretary/Treasurer Motion to call meeting to order by President Skip Hoffman. Motion to accept minutes from last meeting as published. Skip introduced guest speakers CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER John club officer Nicole volunteer. Selling raffle tickets for (1964 Chevy Impala SS) $50.00 each ticket or 5 tickets for $ Give away is April 27, 2013 at Wyoming Athletic Club 2 nd street location. Event starts at 6:00PM, club members are encouraged to bring their classic cars to the parking lot the night of the event to be seen by the public. Guest speaker Randy Waldron CASPER COLLEGE SKILLS USA COMPETITION includes Oral & Written portions and Skills presentation. Contact Jerry Howie or Randy Waldron for more details. Announcement April 20, 2013 Pop into shop Garage tour, meet at Hobby Lobby parking lot 9:30 AM. There will be 5 stops on the tour with the last one being at Auto Dynamics. A pot luck lunch will be served at Auto Dynamics, the club is supplying the meat portion of lunch. Monies going into the Auction fund CAR SHOW UPDATES 8 Vendors committed, 18 club members registered. CAR SHOW VOLUNTEERS NEEDED >Vendor parking, registration, cruise for cash, vote tally(2-3 volunteers), door prizes(ray Parnell) NEWSLETTERS Processed by office solutions Ja Harley will supply them with labels and a number of letters to be printed. They will print >fold stuff envelope attach address label>run postage & mail. Motion to accept Office Solutions process John Gardner 2 nd Jerry Knight Ja Harley has been set up with mail merge to make labels & Cindy Walters is planning to also get set up with mail merge to have a back up person in place if needed. People sign releases before leaving (club insurance not responsible for them) ANNUAL KITE FLY >MAY 5,2013 Mike Cedar Park >Pot luck lunch around noon, club will provide chicken. Bring a kite and have fun. 2

3 Notes from 4/3/13 Car Show Meeting (Courtesy of Pat Potter) In the absence of Bailey, Jerry led the meeting. Door Prizes- selling chances? Or drawing? This all is to be decided. Ray Parnell is to get door prizes from Rick Thurston which includes a $250 certificate from Vintage Air and a metal sign from Speedway. Registration- 20 are registered so far. We need 250 more lanyard cards. Rocky Mountain Sound (DJ) has been booked for Sun. at the Fairgrounds for a charge of $250. Photographer- John Monroe, will take pictures & he will charge the car owner. Since we are not doing awards as we have in the past & they will be done Sun. aft. at the Fairgrounds, we will not do pictures for a power point presentation. (reminder-someone will need to take picture of top pick if it will be used in next years publicity) Video is not needed. Sponsors- cut off is April 15 for major sponsors. We have 29 so far and 4 of those are $1,000 each. Phil and Ray are trying to wind this up so publicity can be finished w/ sponsors names on shirts, banner, posters and etc. Pedens has the duffle bags ordered and sponsor names just need to be added. Awards-Phil will pick up awards from Adler Welding in Sheridan. Total cost is for 50 plaques. The 25 and under class will be judged by 5 judges who will coach and suggest to the car owner anything that stands out as a possible problem. There pick the top 3 cars. So far we only have one registered. Mike asked for volunteers for vote counting, Stan offered but he may need more help. Phil is has ordered the t-shirts from Peden s. Motion( Pat/John) OCAC pay Phil s gas and expenses to go to Sheridan to get the awards. Passed The tuner/import class will park together. Definition of a tuner is Japanese front wheel drive w/ power or fast and furious. Publicity- Jim is working with KCWY as our media sponsor. An electronic release will go out state wide about mid-may. Parking-Jerry has enough volunteers and they are ready to go. Venders- Jerry has a possibility of 8, 4 food and 4 craft, with 6 being paid. Swap Meet-Darc Laws in charge Cruise for Cash-parking directors will be needed to help Jess and John. Where is the dinner and are they offering a discount or free meal? MISC-any chairman needing volunteers should have sign-up sheets available at the next OCAC meeting. In the past Napa has sponsored. This year the Schwan s truck will be there & people will buy what they want and we will pay for what we use. Is John Johnson offering 10% discounts to all his restaurants? Who is doing this? Jim will check with Shifters about doing a cruise-in on Fri. night. Meeting adjourned 3

An informal downtown cruisein, music, food, and new this year a Burn-Out contest. Lunch available for purchase from Sherrie s Place across the street from the Yellowstone Garage 4:00 PM Cruise for Cash.
