4 1. GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 Host Country Netherands The Netherands, often referred to as Hoand, is a country ocated mosty in Western Europe with a popuation of seventeen miion. Together with three isand territories in the Caribbean (Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba), it forms a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherands. 5 1.2 Host city Tiburg and the region Noord Brabant Tiburg is a city in the Netherands, in the southern province of North Brabant. With a popuation of it is the second argest municipaity in North Brabant, and the sixth argest in the Netherands. 8 3. TRAVEL TO TILBURG 3.1 Officia Airport and Arriva Information Amsterdam Schipho Airport and Eindhoven Airport are the main Airports. Transport from the airports wi be provided for peope to the officia hotes. Ony Amsterdam Schipho Airport has a transport/wecome desk. At Eindhoven Airport there is ony one arriva patform, so the guests wi be picked up at the arriva gate Wecome Service Upon arriva at, Amsterdam Airport Schipho the teams wi be met by their Team Attachés. The opening dates and times of the Wecome Desk, situated in Amsterdam at the airport wi be the foowing: Friday 7 December from 09:00 unti 23:00 Saturday 8 December from 10:00 unti 23:00 After coecting uggage, team members wi be escorted to the officia buses by the wecome desk staff and taken to the team hote. 3.2 Arriva by Train The transfer time from the airport to the officia hote is 80 minutes approximatey. There wi be no Wecome Desk at the main raiway station in Tiburg. Teams arriving by train wi be met by LOC representatives and taken to the team hote, according to the arriva times given in the fina entry system. 3.3 Arriva by Road Teams arriving by road are kindy asked to go directy to their hotes, where representatives from the LOC wi wecome them. 8

9 3.4 Entry visas The foowing countries require visas to enter the Netherands: ALB* ARM AZE BLR BIH* GEO* KOS MKD* MDA* RUS SRB* TUR UKR *Visa free regime appies to citizens of ALB, BIH, GEO, MKD, MDA, and SRB, ony if they are hoders of biometric passports. It is the federations own responsibiity to appy for visas at the embassies or consuates and to make sure that a documents required for the appication are compete. Incompete appications sow down the process and may ead to a visa not being issued on time. Participants who require a visa shoud contact the LOC to obtain a specia invitation etter by sending an e-mai to accreditation@tiburg2018.n, with the foowing information: - Fu name (first name and FAMILY NAME as shown in passport) - Nationaity - Date of birth - Passport Number - Function in the Team (athete or officia) 3.5 Insurance According to the Reguation 110.9, the participating Member Federations are responsibe for taking out their own insurance to cover the risk of iness or injury of any member of their team when traveing to and from the European Athetics event and during the event itsef. Pease take the necessary steps to fufi these requirements we in advance. 9

10 4. ACCREDITATION 4.1 Genera Each team member wi receive an accreditation card, which must be worn at a times and shoud be ceary visibe. Security personne wi contro a areas. The accreditation is not transferabe and does not aow the hoder to take another person beyond checkpoints. Photos are not required for the accreditation card system. 4.2 Accreditation Centre The Teams Accreditation Centre wi be ocated at the venue Beekse Bergen. This is where the Team Leader sha report as soon as possibe after their arriva, in order to carry out the administrative procedures. The opening dates and times of the Teams Accreditation Centre wi be as foows: TAC Friday 7 December ** Saturday 8 December Sunday 9 December ** opening hours wi be adjusted upon the arriva times of the teams 4.3 Accreditation Procedure Accreditation cards wi be prepared in advance, based on the information provided by the Member Federation through the European Athetics event management system. No changes wi be accepted after the fina entry deadine. The Team Leader wi be asked to compete the foowing formaities before they can coect the accreditation cards for the whoe team: - LOC accommodation invoice - Check of athetes passport (or a copy) for U20 and U23 age groups - Uniform check - Coection of competition reated forms and information - Confirmation of departure detais 4.4 Access Areas for Teams and Specia Passes A team accreditation cards wi aow access to the teams tent, warm-up areas. Ony athetes who are directy invoved in the competition wi have access to the ca room and to the course. The Head of Deegation from each team is invited to the VIP Hospitaity area and wi be given the necessary access number on the accreditation card. Separate cards wi be issued for the Team Leaders, for access to the information avaiabe in the Technica Information Centre (TIC) ocated in the Event Centre (cose to the course). 10

11 SUB -TIC In the team tent there wi be at the entrance a sub-tic paced. The sub-tic wi be ony opened on Sunday 9 December from 08:30 unti 17: Loss of an Accreditation Card Any ost or damaged accreditation cards shoud be reported to LOC, at the venue Beekse Bergen. Dupicate cards can be obtained where proof of identity can be estabished. 5. ACCOMMODATION 5.1 Genera Information The LOC has made accommodation arrangements for team members in the Safari Resort Beekse Bergen. A ocations are situated within waking distance from each other (max 2 km). Safari Resort Beekse Bergen 11

12 In appendix 5 you find a brochure that you can aready get acquainted with the accommodation that is avaiabe for the teams. The team accommodation is within waking distance of the venue. The tota area is caed Beekse Bergen. The team accommodation is Safari Resort. The venue is on the event area. At the 2018 you iteray seep between the wid animas at the Safari Resort Beekse Bergen. Become one with nature. It is in itsef a unique experience. The teams wi stay in odges. A accommodations are inspired by African nature and cuture. The odges are suitabe for 5, 6 or 10 persons. 13 5.4 Accommodation Costs and European Athetics Quota European Athetics Quota According to Reguation 310.4, the European Athetics sha pay the board and odging expenses for not more than 3 (three) days and for a maximum of: 4 (four) mae and 4 (four) femae athetes in the U20 category 4 (four) mae and 4 (four) femae athetes in the U23 category 4 (four) mae and 4 (four) femae athetes in the Senior category 4 (four) athetes in the mixed reay event No contribution sha be made in respect of athetes representing the host European Athetics Member Federation Ratio of Athetes & Officias The number of team officias in the hereunder chart is aso eigibe for fixed price accommodation and other benefits. European Athetics wi not cover these officias accommodation costs. Number of Athetes From - to Number of Team Officias Up to: Maximum number of additiona officias (out-of-ratio): Accommodation costs The foowing rates appy for team members. These incude fu board and accommodation per person/per night: Group Singe room Doube /Twin room Athetes outside the quota and in ratio-officias 125 euro * 100 euro Officias outside the ratio 125 euro 100 euro Additiona nights (Athetes and Officias) 125 euro 100 euro A prices incude VAT. In addition to the accommodation costs, out-of-ratio officias wi be charged a odging fee of 105 EUR, for the whoe duration of the event * Each participating team sha be aocated a minimum number of singe rooms equa to 10 per cent of the tota number of athetes and in ratio team officias entered in the fina entries at the price of a twin room. Additiona singe rooms can be requested and wi be given according to avaiabiity. The price for the additiona singe room is 125 euro. 13

14 Canceation poicy The fina account for accommodation attributabe to each Member Federation sha be based on the numbers decared in the Fina Entries and this sha be paid in fu, no aowance being made for any subsequent reduction in the actua numbers of athetes and/or officias. However, according to competition rue 303.6, European Athetics may reduce financia support (for trave, board/accommodation grants, etc.) to any European Athetics Member Federation which, after having announced their participation, does not take part or attend the competition with a number of athetes and officias materiay higher or ower than the number stated in the Preiminary Entry by 20%. The atter appies ony if the Preiminary Entry is more than 4 (four) Payment Procedures A proforma invoice was sent to each Federation detaiing the amount they owe based on their preiminary entries. Federations are kindy encouraged to make an advance payment of at east 100 % by 1 December Advance payments shoud be made in Euros by bank transfer to the foowing account: Bank account name : ST EK Cross Tiburg 2018 Bank reference : ABNAMRO BANK NEDERLAND Bank account number : NL 29 ABNA Sort code : Bank address : Vestdijk 18 Eindhoven Swift No : ABNANL2A Note: A copy of the bank transfer wi be required upon arriva. The remaining sum (= fina entry sum pre-payment) wi be invoiced after the fina entry deadine. Shoud the remaining amount (after the fina entries) be setted by bank transfer, the team eader is requested to provide the LOC with a proof of payment upon arriva at the Finances Office that wi be ocated in the Team Accreditation Centre. Otherwise the baance of the payment must be paid on-site by the Team Leader on arriva at the Accreditation Centre. Payment can be made by credit card or by cash in Euros on site Extra Charges The Team Leader must sette phone bis and a other extra services at the hote reception, before departure. The Team Leader wi be requested a credit card by the hote reception desk for extras. A payments must be made in Euros or by credit card. 5.5 Rooming ist Detaied information about athetes and officias rooming ist wi have to be entered by the Member Federations during the Fina Entries process. Further amendments wi have to be made through the accommodation modue of European Athetics event management system after the cosing of the Fina entries. 14

15 5.6 Meas At the safari resort there are two restaurants, a teams wi receive information upon arriva about their restaurant and its ocation. Meas wi a be served in buffet stye and, wi be simiar in both restaurants. A arge seection of suitabe food wi be avaiabe taking into consideration specia diets, reigion and cuture of the participants. Accreditation cards wi aow access to meas. 5.7 Services in the Team Hote Meeting Rooms Rooms for meeting opportunities are avaiabe in the odges and at the team hote. Meetings panned in the odges don t need to be registered. Reservation for arger groups sha be required via the Information Desk a day before in advance. To ensure that a teams have access to the meeting room, usage may be imited. Teams requiring any additiona service may make separate arrangements through the Information Desk. There is aso the possibiity to reserve office/meeting rooms for Teams, with excusive right for the whoe duration of the Championships. Pease contact: accommodation@tiburg2018.n Rooms for physiotherapy Dedicated rooms for physiotherapy with medica staff to set-up their own massage beds can be panned in the odges and don t need to register for them. There wi aso be LOC physiotherapy services offered to those teams that do not have their own medica staff (see ) Internet access Free internet access wi be provided at the team accommodation. 15

Therefore there wi be no bus shutte 16

17 7. TECHNICAL INFORMATION 7.1 Technica Information Centre (TIC) The TIC is ocated at the competition venue in the Event Centre, room A. Pease, see Appendix 2. The main function of the Technica Information Centre is to ensure smooth communication between each Team Deegation, the Loca Organising Committee, European Athetics Technica Deegate and the Competition Management of the Championships regarding technica matters. Opening hours: Friday December 7 from 10:00 ti 22:00 Saturday December 8 from 08:30 ti 18:00 Sunday December 9 from 08:30 ti 17:00 The TIC sha be responsibe for the foowing: Settement of technica enquiries from deegations Competition information Recovery of items confiscated at the Ca Room Requests for additiona doping contro tests Urgent notices - coection and deivery of any urgent written notices to the Team Deegations from Technica Deegate, European Athetics and LOC Pubication and distribution of resuts Receipt of protests/appeas from the teams SUB -TIC In the team tent there wi be at the entrance a sub-tic paced. The sub-tic wi be ony opened on Sunday 9 December from 08:30 unti 17:30. The Sub-TIC can hande the foowing items: Settement of technica enquiries from deegations Competition information Recovery of items confiscated at the Ca Room Pubication of resuts 7.2 Technica Meeting The Technica Meeting wi be hed on 8 December. It wi foow the course inspection for team eaders as per schedue beow: 12:00-12:30 course inspection for team eaders (start is at the start ine) 12:30-13:00 short technica meeting in the kit coection tent. Each team may be represented by a maximum of two team deegates and, if necessary, an interpreter. It is very important that a teams are represented at the Technica Meeting. 17

18 The Technica Meeting wi provide updates and information, which is not aready mentioned in this team manua and wi incude: Information about members of Jury of appea Timetabe amendments (if any) Starting gates and starts procedures Information briefing by the Doping Contro Deegate Information about seection of Team Europe for the Simpyheath Great Stiring Cross Country Answers to written questions Written Questions Any enquiries concerning the technica conduct of the Championships must be made in writing (in Engish). These questions wi be answered at the Technica Meeting. The forms on which the questions must be written wi be distributed upon your arriva at the Main Accreditation Centre. These forms must be returned to the TIC no ater than 8 December, by 09:00. 18

19 8. COMPETITION VENUE 8.1 The Course The 2018 wi be disputed on a 1,000 m ap (red) and a 1,500 m ap (back) course. The fina ap is 1,300 m. Pease, see the Appendix 2. The surface of the course is partiay sand and partiay up-and-down through woods with finish area of grass surface. For the Mixed Reay: the first ap is 1200 meter, two back aps from 1500 meter and a ap from 1600 meter. Besides, team members may visit the venue inspecting access routes and other faciities which wi be important to the teams on Saturday 8 December from 10:00 12:00 during the officia Training at the course. 8.3 Dressing Rooms No dressing rooms other than the teams tent on the course is avaiabe. 8.4 Training The Course wi be open for Officia Training on Saturday 8 December from 10:00 to 12:00. The course is situated approx. 1 km from the resort. So, there wi not be transportation organised. At other times, there is a training area avaiabe situated next to the course. 19

20 9. ENTRY REGULATIONS & FINAL CONFIRMATIONS 9.1. Entry Rues Every European Athetics Member may enter 1 (one) team for each event. a. Individua Events In accordance with European Athetics Reguation 302.8, each European Athetics Member Federation may enter a maximum of 8 (eight) athetes in each individua event, of which a maximum of 6 (six) may participate, in the foowing conditions: Ony athetes aged at east 16 (sixteen) and not more than 19 (nineteen) years on 31 December of the year of the competition may participate in the U20 events; Ony athetes aged at east 20 (twenty) and not more than 22 (twenty two) years on 31 December of the year of the competition may participate in the Under 23 events; Ony athetes aged at east 20 (twenty) years on 31 December of the year of the competition may compete in the Senior events. A athetes must be abe to present, if requested to do so by the Technica Deegate an officia document stating their date of birth. Each athete may ony be entered in one individua race of the Championships and he/she can ony compete in the individua race for which he/she was entered. Athough the are basicay a team competition, individua entries may be accepted. b. Mixed Reay Event Each European Athetics Member Federation may aso enter a maximum of 6 athetes in the mixed reay race, of which 4 (2 Men + 2 Women) may compete. The running order of Senior Mixed Reay sha be the foowing: Man Woman Man Woman Fina Entries Fina entries sha be made through the European Athetics Event Management System which wi be accessibe at the foowing ink: Member Federations entries manager sha use their aready known individua and personaised access. Fina entries indicating the names and individua ogistica information (detaied trave arrangements, accommodation request and rooming ist) of the competitors and of the officias must be received not ater than 10 (ten) days before the first competition day. 21 A Member Federations wi be abe to consut and print out their entries at any time during the opening period and wi receive a pdf report with a status of their entries 24h before the deadine as we as one pdf confirmation after the cosing of the system. Detaied trave and rooming ist information wi have to be registered for each athete and officia during the fina entries process. Amendments and updates wi then be possibe through the accommodation and transportation modues of Arena after the cosing of the fina entries. The rooming ist information (name of the sharing person in twin room) is mandatory to enabe the accurate cacuation of required rooms, which wi be the basis of the accommodation invoice Fina Entries Team Leaders or their representatives must confirm the names of those competitors aready entered who wi actuay take part in the competition. Fina confirmations wi have to be made via onine too, which wi be accessibe at a ink to be communicated to the Teams at a ater stage. Team Leaders wi be provided with an individua and personaized access, as we as detaied user manua. The onine too is accessibe via any device (e.g. PC, smartphone, etc.) having access to internet. In addition, free access aptops wi be avaiabe at the TIC, for any Teams needing support to proceed with fina confirmations. The confirmations sha be made no ater than Friday 7 December at 17:00. Fina start ists wi be ready for coection after the Technica Meeting Reay running Order Decaration Whie the reay participation wi have to be confirmed by the above fina confirmation deadine, the name of the athetes and running order wi have to be decared on the specific forms to be coected at TIC, and deivered by one hour before the first ca time of the reay race Withdrawa Withdrawa of any confirmation must be indicated to the TIC in writing on the officia withdrawa form. 9.3 Scoring Each race sha be scored separatey. In a races, 3 (three) athetes sha score. The team resuts sha be decided by the aggregate of pacing recorded by the scoring athetes of each team. The team with the owest aggregate of pacing points wi be judged the winner. If a team fais to finish with a compete scoring team, it wi not be cassified in the team resut. The athetes finishing sha be counted as individuas in the race resut and sha be eigibe for the individua pacing. No adjustment to the scoring pacing of the finishing teams sha be made in respect of any non-scoring team runners or of individua entries Ties In the event of a tie, it sha be resoved in favour of the team whose ast scoring runner finishes nearest to the first pace in accordance with European Athetics Reguation If two or more athetes tie for a pace in any event, the attributabe points sha be divided equay between them. 21

COMPETITION PROCEDURE 10.1 Timetabe Pease refer to Appendix 3 for the competition timetabe Competition Bibs Each athete wi receive 4 bibs after the Technica Meeting: 3 name bibs and 1 number bib. The 3 name bibs have to be put as foows: one on the front, one on the warm-up track suit and the other one for the bag. The number bib wi have to be worn on the back of the singet. The competition bibs may not be cut, bent, covered or ruined in any way Chip Transponders A chip transponder to be put on one of the shoes wi be handed out in the ca room. Athetes must ensure the proper pacement of the transponder. When exiting the Ca Room, it is the responsibiity of each athete to check that her/his name appears on the contro screen when they wak over the transponder mat. Athetes and Coaches must ensure the proper return of the chip transponder after the race: transponders have to be handed out immediatey after the Mixed Zone, at the post event area Competition Cothing Competitors must wear the Federation s officia team cothing. IAAF Rue 8 &143 wi be stricty appied. Pease make sure to foow the IAAF Advertising Reguations in force. Cothing and items not conforming to this rue and the current IAAF Advertising Reguations wi be removed or taped at the ca room. The European Athetics has a record of the Team vests of a Member Federations, avaiabe on European Athetics Event Management System, Arena, accessibe at the foowing ink: Member Federations sha confirm their team vests. If the uniform dispayed differs from your current officia uniform, a fu set of photographs must be upoaded, using the team vests tempate form provided by European Athetics by 29 November 2018 at the atest. Otherwise, the existing records wi be used as reference. Team cothing must be uniform. A competitor wearing any other cothing wi have no access to the competition area and wi not be aowed to compete. This rue appies both to competition cothing (vest, shorts and tights) as we as to tracksuits. 22

23 10.5 Ca Room The Ca Room is ocated between the Team tent and the start. A warning signa wi be given 5 minutes, 3 minutes and 1 minute before the start of the race Specific Event Procedures Fase start In the event of the fase start, the starter wi fire a second shot and officias wi raise a tape across the course, 100 m from the start ine Starting Stations According to 305.2, the aocation of starting gates shoud be as foows: The first 5 (five) teams from the previous year s championships wi be aocated the 5 (five) starting gates in the centre of the start area. The host country wi be added next foowed by the previous year s individua winner s team (if the individua winner is decared in this year s team) and they have not aready been aocated a starting gate. A teams with the maximum number of athete, (currenty 6 (six)), wi be aocated starting gates either side of the above. Then teams with 5 (five) competitors wi be added to each side foowed by teams with 4 (four) and then teams of 3 (three) and finay teams of 2 (two). Any team with ony one athete wi be aocated a starting gate with another country s athete who ony have 1 (one) singe athete. The exact pacing in the various groups being made by the drawing of ots by the Technica Deegate. The resut of the draw wi be announced at the Technica Meeting and dispayed at the Information Desk in the team hotes as we as on the start gantry at the course. 23

MEDICAL SERVICES & DOPING CONTROLS 11.1 Medica Services The medica service wi provide medica information and assistance to a accredited guests (teams, LOC personne, VIP guests and media) as we as, during the competition, to the spectators. In case of emergency, pease contact the nearest medica first aid station or ca the 24/7 Medica Emergency number Medica Services in the Team Hote The medica centre serves the athetes, coaches, other team members as we as members of the competition organisation. The medica centre is ocated on the venue (near the Team tent) and wi be open on Friday from 12:00 ti 17:00 and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 unti 17:00. From there wi be 2 first-aid staff members avaiabe. During other hours there wi be a doctor and nurse and Physiotherapist on ca On Monday there wi be a doctor on request avaiabe (15-minute drive) form the hote. For emergency needs Team Leaders wi contact Judith Princen , when there is an acute probem ca Medica Care at the Competition Venue A medica tent wi be active at the Venue site for acute medica assistance. First aid teams Red Cross marked, supervised by doctors, wi be distributed around the course during the competition. The oca medica service wi be responsibe for any probem concerning the athetes heath both at competition and warming up areas. In case of injuries, ony LOC physician wi be admitted to the course. The respective physician wi decide on the further treatment of the injured athete. Team doctors wi have access to the medica service faciities when an athete of his/her own team is hurt or is in need of other medica attention Physiotherapy Services Physiotherapy Services in the Team Hote and warm up area For those teams requiring physiotherapy services there wi be a team of physiotherapists avaiabe at the medica centre (ocated on the venue near the Team tent) and wi be open on Friday from 12:00 ti 17:00 and on Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 unti 17:00 hour. There are aso physiotherapy rooms avaiabe for the teams in the team odges for their own physiotherapist(s). 24

25 11.3 Doping Contros Genera Information Doping contro wi be conducted in accordance with IAAF Rues and Anti-doping Reguations. They are in accordance with the revised WADA code in force since 1 January The contros wi be done under the supervision of the European Athetics Doping Contro Deegate. Both urine and bood sampes may be coected immediatey before, and during, the Championships. Athetes seected for doping contro sha be notified by anti-doping officias. Athetes wi be required to sign a doping contro notification form. Athetes must bring to the Doping Contro Station (DCS) an ID card with photo, such as passport, driving icence, etc. Athetes who are to be tested can be accompanied to the Doping Contro Station by an accredited team representative of their choice. A seected athete shoud report immediatey to the Doping Contro Station (DCS) uness there are vaid reasons for deay. A seected athetes wi be accompanied by a trained chaperone or Doping Contro Officer from the time of notification unti arriva at the DCS and provision of the sampe. Athetes are reminded that refusa to provide a sampe or ack of cooperation can render them iabe to disquaification and may ead to further discipinary action. Athetes who are required to use prescribed medication for the treatment of a medica condition shoud ensure that they have registered their medication, where necessary, through the Therapeutic Use Exemption system prior to attending the Championships Seection of Athetes The seection of athetes for contro wi be made on a fina position and/or random basis under the supervision of the European Athetics Doping Contro Deegate. In addition, the seection of further athetes may be ordered at the discretion of the European Athetics Doping Contro Deegate Additiona Contros Additiona athetes may present themseves for testing. These athetes must report to the TIC where they wi have to compete the Doping Contro Request Form. They wi then be escorted to the Doping Contro Station. The cost of this contro wi be paid by the European Athetics and wi be deducted from the Member Federation s European Athetics subvention after the Championships. 25

CEREMONIES & SOCIAL FUNCTIONS 12.1 European Athetics City Dinner A European Athetics Tiburg City Dinner wi be hed on Saturday 8 December at 19:00 at the Chape Rooi Harten in the centre of Tiburg. Two members of each Member Federation wi be invited. Invitation cards wi be given together with the accreditation, according to the names confirmed in advance by each Federation Opening Ceremony The Opening Ceremony wi take pace on Sunday 9 December at 10:30 at the venue Victory Ceremonies The victory ceremony for individuas and teams wi take pace on the venue as schedued on the event programme. Athetes must wear the officia team cothing for the ceremonies and no other items sha be taken to the podium, such as fags, bags or other. Athetes attending the victory ceremonies wi be accompanied to the kit coection area where they shoud dress up and then to the Victory Ceremony preparation room.. U23 Men attending the individua and team Victory Ceremony as we as Mixed reay athetes wi be accompanied directy to the Victory Ceremony preparation room (without going through the kit coection area) and their bags with cothes and shoes wi be taken to this area by vounteers. Therefore, U23 Men athetes and Mixed reay athetes are requested to have in their individua bag the necessary cothing and shoes for the ceremonies and the bag must be identifiabe with the bib number Cosing Party The Cosing Party wi take pace on Sunday 9 December from 21:00 to 01:00 in the Pretoria Lounge at the Event Centre, within waking distance of approx. 1.5 km of the teams accommodation. Beow is an overview of the ocation (A). The route to and from the Event Centre wi be competey highighted. Everyone with accreditation or an invitation is wecome to attend. 27 13. DEPARTURE Teams wi be asked to provide fu trave detais together with the Fina Entries. Teams wi aso receive a departure form, which shoud be competed and returned to the LOC Information Desk in the team hote, at east 24 hours before departure, especiay if there are any changes to the initia provided detais. Departure times of the shutte buses from the hote wi be provided and dispayed at the LOC Information Desk. A outstanding fees, charges and possibe other expenses must be setted with the cashier. On the day of departure the LOC Hote Manager wi check the rooms together with the Team Leaders. If there is something missing the team eader has to sove this or pay the cost directy. This check takes pace haf an hour before eaving with the buses. 14. SIMPLYHEALTH GREAT STIRLING CROSS COUNTRY TEAM EUROPE SELECTION Team Europe wi be seected, in principe, after the end of each race at the Tiburg The avaiabiity of quaified athetes wi be checked and confirmed on site during the Championships. The seection criteria wi be the foowing: 1. Ony athetes who took part in the 2018 wi be considered for seection. 2. In principe, at east the first four (4) athetes in the Senior and the first two (2) in the U23 categories wi be seected for the Team Europe competing in the Senior race provided they wi accept their appointment, they are not injured or i, or any other reasons prevent them from participating. In the U20 category (due to the year change and IAAF age group rues) the first two (2) athetes aged at east 17 (seventeen) and not more than 19 (nineteen) years on 31 December 2019 (date of birth range ) wi be seected for the Team Europe competing in the U20 Mixed Reay provided they wi accept their appointment, they are not injured or i, or any other reasons prevent them from participating. 3. The winning team of the Senior Mixed Reay event in Tiburg wi be invited to represent Team Europe in Stiring. 4 If for any reason one of the seected athetes wi not be avaiabe, the next ranked athete wi be seected. 5. Athetes from GBR wi not be considered for this seection. For each race of the Simpyheath Great Stiring Cross Country reserve athetes wi be nominated in order to repace aready appointed athetes if for any reason they are not abe to come to Stiring. The nomination of Team Europe s officias - physician/medica doctor (1), physiotherapist (2) and coaches (2) - accompanying the deegation wi be made after the seection of the athetes and wi depend on the fina composition of the team.
