Thanks to Jerry and Pat Brick, we had a very successful Burrito breakfast which included potatoes, mixed fruit cups and O.J. Our chapter members, along with the Levi grand kids, had a very successful morning. The only snafu was we weren t informed of any special diet needs, and there were two. A VERY big thankyou to Jerry and Pat and crew. To add to our glory, we received our Chapter of Excellence cer ficate. And, thanks to Chris Sommer, we were judged with the best table decora ons. Three for three sounds great to me and for our chapter. Twelve rigs were in a endance, and although spread out, we, as usual, came together for another great campout. Next is Gold Strike Village in San Andreas, Nov. 9 thru 12. Followed by our members only Grand Holiday ou ng at Casa de Fruta, Dec. 7 thru 10. We had a short business mee ng. The nomina ng commi ee, Jerry, presented a slate of officers for 2018: Pres. Larry Leavi ; Vice Pres Phil Hayden; Treasurer DeAnne Alcorn; Secretary Dick Wood. There were no Page 1

Thanks all, Your Pres., Phil Lone Cypress Winnitascans Business Mee ng Minutes October 7, 2017 Officers present: President: Phil For er, Treasurer: Dee Alcorn, Secretary: Dick Wood. Total membership present at the mee ng: 16. OPENING FORMALITIES The mee ng was called to order by President Phil For er at 4:00 p.m. This was a semi official mee ng held at the California State Cub of WIT annual rally at Mother Lode fairgrounds in Sonora. Treasurer s report: Dee Alcorn reported on the financial results of the breakfast LCW provided that morning for all a endees of the state rally. The net proceeds to our chapter will be $417. President s Report: Phil expressed his thanks to Jerry and Pat and the members who did meal prep the night before and then turned out early this morning to finish the prepara on and then serve the meal. Our chapter received many compliments for the food, and Jim Campbell commented that state board members called it one of the best breakfasts ever at a state mee ng. New Business: At the first general mee ng of the state rally, LCW was recognized along with other chapters in the state as a chapter of excellence. Also the state president announced to all those present that LCW had been awarded most outstanding chapter website at GNR. Finally, thanks to the skill and talent of Chris Sommer, LCW was awarded most outstanding table decora ons for the state rally. For all of these awards, well done one and all!! Jessie asked about the status of 2018 ou ngs. There aren t many available to publicize right now. This will be discussed under new business at the November ou ng. Upcoming local and state ou ngs: November 9 12 Gold Strike. There are only 15 sites available for the group campground. December 7 10 Holiday ou ng at Casa de Fruta. An updated lis ng of all scheduled LCW and State ou ngs may be found in the newsle er and on the LCW website at.
