Montferrandaise Wrestling section Maison des sports de Clermont-Ferrand Place des Bughes CLERMONT-FERRAND Mister President, The A.S.Montferrandaise Section Wrestling (Clermont-Ferrand ASM) is pleased to invite you to its tournament she organizes: Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th November 2018 For this purpose please kindly find attached: - The tournament rules To remedy the malfunctions of the competition encountered in recent years and especially the previous year and to guarantee everyone an optimal organization, we bring this year the following changes: This tournament is reserved for categories U15, U17 and U20 / Senior woman and man. For the youngest U7, U9, U11, U13, a "Volcans Youth" tournament will be organized in April Weighing is planned the day before the competition; that is to say on Friday evening for the Free Style competition and on Saturday evening for the Greco-Roman competition. A "weight checking" will be proposed the same day of the competition (respectively on Saturday morning for Free Style and on Sunday morning for Greco) only for those who could not be weighed the day before and who have previously registered in their weight category. In this case of the simple checking, there will be no change of category possible; if the wrestler does not fit the correct weight, he will be forfeited. No registration of a wrestler on the day of the competition will be possible to allow a quick start. Nordic pairing with implementation of a new computer system for managing pairings and the course of fights (Nordic tournament up to 6 wrestlers without double elimination defeat and from 7 wrestlers, 2 pools with Nordic tournament with double elimination defeat. Finals for 1st and 2nd place, 3rd and 4th place and 5th and 6th place) This tournament is open to all F.F.L license holders and foreign club licensees for categories U15, U17 and U20 / senior. It will comply with F.F.L. in place and in the following styles: - Women's wrestling - Free Style wrestling - Greco-Roman wrestling The "Trophée des Volcans" will be awarded to the team (excluding the organizing club) who has won the most points in all age categories. Our objectives are twofold: o 1- that this wrestling competition is a sporting success shared by all. o 2- that organization and timing be respected, reasonably so that all fights are completed at 18:30 on Saturday and at 15:30 on Sunday. 3 TOURNAMENT RULES OF TROPHEE DES VOLCANS 2018 The managers of the invited clubs undertake to register only the licensed competitors to the F.F.L, or in their respective federation for foreign clubs. Anyone who does not meet this obligation will not be able to take part in the competition. 4 Scoring system in the category : 6 pts on the 1st, 5 pts on the 2nd, 4 pts on the 3rd, 3 pts on the 4th, 2 pts on the 5th, 1 pt on the 6th Entry fees: Before the commitment deadline 8 euros with an official referee of minimum regional level 14 euros without official referee of minimum regional level After the commitment deadline 20 euros with an official referee of minimum regional level 30 euros without official referee of minimum regional level Reminder: NO REGISTRATION ON THE DAY OF THE COMPETITION - A special commitment will be made so that the competition ends in a reasonable time. Given the large number of participants in previous editions, an effort must be made so that each team makes available a referee every day it is engaged and this to allow a better conduct of the meeting. At the deadline of commitments, Friday, November 9, 2018, if it is not possible to organize the competition on 7 mats because the number of referees is not enough, the organization reserves the right to limit the number of competitors. Clubs with referee and first registered clubs will be given priority. - Referees in uniform and graduates as well as the technical secretariat will be compensated if they officiate. It is important that the referee team stays until the end of the competition. - If time permits, we will facilitate meetings between wrestlers alone in their category. - A refreshment bar is organized on the place of the competition. - The organization declines any responsibility in case of accidents or robbery that could occur during the competition. - The organization reserves the right to change schedules. - A medical service will be present during the 2 days. - A warm-up place will be available for the wrestlers.. Status of the wrestler Outfit Every wrestler must present himself on the mat in regulatory dress. Behavior Every wrestler must (under penalty of being disqualified): - Be respectful of the referee team - Do not speak during the match - Show fair play - Do not show any gesture of anger - Greet the referee, his opponent and the opposing coach - Respect sports facilities - Respect people in and outside the competition area - Respect the rules imposed by the local organizer Status of the coach Outfit Only a licensed and graduate coach can enter the competition area with his badge (provided by the organization) in tracksuit and sport shoes.. License - Diploma Anyone performing the duties of coach at the mat, must be FFL Fellowship or in its national federation for foreign clubs and possess a federal diploma or state diploma (registered on the FFL Intranet). Behavior Every coach must: 4

5 - Stay seated during the fight - Be respectful of the referee team, the wrestler and the opposing coach - Be the guarantor of the wrestlers for whom he is responsible - Be respectful of people in and outside the competition area - Respect the rules imposed by the local organizer Club commitment All members of a team commit themselves under penalty of immediate exclusion of the trophy to: - Respect the facilities, building and cloakrooms (cleanliness in the bleacher seating and toilets) - Respect the organization - Observe safety instructions Registration opening on Monday 1 st October 2018 Thank you for confirming your participation before Friday, November 9, 2018 in order to better organize the competition.
