Statement Accounts Delegates 12/287 WRIGHT: That the Statement of Financial Activities for October 2012 be accepted as presented. 12/288 GORDON : That the accounts to November 6, 2012 be authorized for payment and that a list of cheques numbered to inclusive including EFT payroll deposits totaling $717, be annexed to and form a part of these minutes. Gordon Tetz, Land Coordinator Husky Energy, Robert Brandt, Production Manager Husky Energy, and Simona Moangher, Development Coordinator Husky Energy NCTPC 12/289 LAMB: That Councillor Walde be registered for the NCTPC Workshop Invasive Weeds Workshop to be held in Maidstone on February 19, Winter Weights WCMGC Workshop 12/290 LAMB: That the RM of Manitou Lake opt out of the Ministry of Highways Winter Weight Program. 12/291 LAMB: That Councillors Walde, Czerniak, and Gordon be registered for the WCMGC Gravel Workshop to be held in Kindersley on December 4, Crown Ag 12/292 WRIGHT: That the RM of Manitou Lake set the point distribution Lease Points for allocation of Crown land leases as 5 points each for distance, age, and resource base. Gravelock 12/293 JONES: That prices be obtained on Gravelock Soil Stabilizer from Soil Stabilizer Rhide Technologies.
2 RM OF MANITOU LAKE NO November 6, 2012 Shady Glens 12/294 CZERNIAK: That the RM of Manitou Lake Council acknowledge the Rate Increase Shady Glen s Pest Control rate increase effective January 1, Foreman 12/295 LINDSAY: That the RM of Manitou Lake advertise for a Fulltime Ads Foreman with applications to close 4 pm December 6, Convention 12/296 JONES: That Councillors Czerniak and Walde be appointed as Voting Voting Delegates for the RM of Manitou Lake at the SARM Convention, November 14-15, J Donally Sick Days RM Meet Lunch 12/297 JONES: That Operator Jean Donally be paid for 4 days at 8 hours per day for the time she was off work due to her injured elbow. 12/298 JONES: That Catering To You be hired to provide lunch at every other RM Regular Council Meeting. Dec 12/299 LINDSAY: That the December Meeting of the RM of Manitou Lake Meeting Council be changed to December 7 th. Appraiser Exprop Delegate 12/300 CZERNIAK: That Mattila Appraisals of North Battleford be contracted to provide an appraisal on the NE W3M for expropriation purposes. Kelvin Hall, Foreman, discussed with Council: - He will try to finish up as many projects before he is done work - There were issues having the ripper installed on the new Volvo Grader. He is trying to get this rectified - The steady bearing is loose. He was advised by the Service Department at Redhead in Lloydminster that due to how busy they are, our service will be coming out of Saskatoon. - The heater in the east bay needs replacing. - The crew would like to have input on the gravel maps in the spring. Shop Heater No Salt On Gravel 12/301 LAMB: That Foreman Kelvin Hall be authorized to have the heater in the east bay at the shop replaced. 12/302 LAMB: That a letter be sent to Urlacher Construction and McIntosh McIntosh Construction advising that deicing product is not to be spread on the RM Gravel roads and to stop at the RM right of way when sanding on lease roads to stop. SARM Dental 12/311 LAMB: That the RM of Manitou Lake add Level 2 Dental Coverage under the SARM Health and Dental Benefits Plan to the existing coverage effective January 1, Retirement 12/312 CZERNIAK: That Administrator Joanne Loy be authorized to purchase Gifts a travel voucher in the amount of $1000 for Ken Scott and a travel voucher in the amount of $500 for Kelvin Hall from Carlson Wagonlit Travel and with an engraved plaque honor their time dedicated to the RM to be presented at the Christmas supper.
