Watch your friends and colleagues apply shooting techniques and join them for a fun day of food and socializing. If you have the itch to shoot, side games are available for spectators, too. IMPORTANT NOTES Registration is due by August 27 th to guarantee gifts. You may use your personal gun during the competition upon approval from Black Wing staff. All shooters will receive a safety briefing and will be accompanied by a Range Safety Officer while on the shooting range. Other event activities include silent auction, a poker shoot, and fun side games. Guests who are 10 years old and above are welcome to shoot. Participants (shooters and spectators) under 18 years of age must have parental approval and be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while on the premises. 4 SIDE GAMES TWO SIDE GAMES WILL BE OFFERED FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME THROUGHOUT THE EVENT. STARTING AT 11:00 AM, SIDE GAMES WILL BE OPEN FOR PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS SO COME EARLY OR STAY LATE FOR EXTRA TRIGGER FUN. SPECTATORS ARE ALSO ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN SIDE GAMES AS THEY ARE THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE THIS SPORT. INDOOR POKER SHOOT FIRE 10 SHOTS AT A POKER TARGET WITH.22 PISTOLS AT THE INDOOR RANGE. A CHEAT SHEET OF WINNING HANDS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THOSE LESS FAMILIAR WITH POKER HANDS. PAVILION SHOOT 10-BIRD GAME UNDER A COVERED PAVILION WITH A MIXTURE OF COLORED SPORTING CLAY TARGETS. EACH COLOR HAS AN ASSIGNED VALUE, CREATING A GAME OF SKILL AND CHANCE. 7 Proceeds from the 2013 Clay Target Classic will go toward the purchase of a new transportation vehicle for The Gables at Green Pastures, Memorial Hospital s short- and long-term care facility. The new bus will fulfill the need to transport a large number of residents and those with special medical equipment. Additionally, it will be used to take short-term residents to doctors appointments and group therapy outings. Residents at The Gables enjoy the quiet comforts of independent living in an environment that readily supports their physical needs while fostering their social, emotional, and spiritual needs.
