4 Faller Honored After Title Win Sweet Home coach John Faller was named the Coach of the Week after his Panthers won the Class A championship with a 28-7 win over West Seneca East in the Section 6 championship game. It was the 6th consecutive year that Sweet Home has won the Class A championship and it was the Panthers 60th straight win over WNY opponents. Many area fans were anticipating a closer game between the two undefeated teams but Sweet Home dominated the ground game and the field position from the start. Kahlil Humphrey rushed for 126 yards and 2 TDs, including a 34-yard scoring burst that gave Sweet Home a 6-0 lead. We were able to run the ball, Faller said. We had a nice mix of run and pass on offense. In the second quarter, with Sweet Home holding an 8-0 lead, West Seneca East punter Andy Smigiera dropped a punt that was downed on the Panthers 1-yard line. Sweet Home went into the Big Bird formation and began to run the double-wing offense. We always use the double-wing when we need a solid running game, Faller said. It s a good offense but it s a safe offense. It makes the other team do things defensively that maybe they aren t used to. Sweet Home executed a punishing drive, as they traveled 99 yards for a TD. It got us out of our own end zone, Faller said. Running that offense well really builds our confidence when we can move the ball. We went to spread for a couple of plays after we got out of our own goal line. We pick and choose our times as to win to use it. Sweet Home actually switched to their Spread offense for two plays in the middle of the drive before switching back into the Big Bird. The Panthers capped the drive when Mike Torrillo hit Carter Mann with a 7-yard TD pass for a 15-0 lead. Buffalo Bills Coach of the Week 3 Any time you can go 99 yards, it s pretty amazing, Faller said. That was a great accomplishment by our kids. It was a statement as to what our capability was and I think it also sent a message to West Seneca East. The drive totally deflated West Seneca East and the momentum totally shifted the Panthers way. Sweet Home led 21-0 at the half. Faller acknowledged that most area fans were rooting against the Panthers. I don t know if people thought the streak would end or if they just wanted it to end, he said. We still have a bullseye on our back. We are still a big mark for someone to get if they can. Faller said he was proud of this year s team because they won another title despite not having a bona fide star on the roster. They are different from past teams, Faller said. Every team is different. We don t have a Player of the Year type kid this year. The Panthers still run the same offense but they are quicker to change. There are changes every year, Faller said. We adapt to the kids we have each year. Maybe that s why we keep winning. Faller said that he was especially pleased that this year s group of players was able to continue the amazing run of championships. This is a pretty good group to work with, he said. These kids get along and play well together. That has gone a long ways for us. Faller also said that his staff of assistants are an important part of the Panthers program. They give the award to me but we work together and it s everybody s award. Mike Faulks (line coach), Mike Torrillo (defensive assistant coach) and James Bialasik (defensive assistant coach) are there everyday helping to make the kids better.

By Mark Adair Bishop Timon fell behind 7-0 on the first play from scrimmage but rebounded to beat St. Joe s in the Msgr. Martin Association semifinals at Ralph Wilson Stadium last night. St. Joe s senior Ilo Noble broke around the left end and raced 61 yards for a TD on the first play of the game to give St. Joe s a 7-0 lead but Timon struck back on its next possession. With an emphatic drive down the field, Timon used a punishing running attack to tie the game. Jackson Brown scored the first of his 2 TDs on a 1-yard run. On St. Joe s nest possession, Adam DiMillo intercepted a pass and returned it 35 yards for a TD and a 14-7 lead. After recovering a fumble, Timon drove down for another score. Brown bulled his way into the end zone from 3 yards away and a 21-7 lead. He s a pretty rugged kid, Timon coach Charlie Comerford said. He s an old-time football player. He doesn t come off the field and yet he plays the two must physical positions in football. Brown, a senior, starts at FB and LB as well as holding for PAT kicks and field goals. Brown (5-10, 210) is a physical player. He s very well put together, Comerford said. As a fullback, he blocks all game and then turns around and makes 15 tackles a game as a linebacker. Entering the semifinal game with St. Joe s, Brown led the Tigers with 99 tackles in 9 games. He also plays lacrosse for Timon. He s probably the best goalie in Western New York, Comerford said. He s already signed with Hobart to play Division I lacrosse and I think he could certainly play football for them, too. I think he would like to give it a try. Brown maintains an academic average well into the 90s. Academically, he s one of the best here at Timon, Comerford said. He s kind of a quiet guy but he s the center of everything. The guys all flock to him and he has a great personality. Younger guys all look up to him and he s one of the leaders on the team and in the school. For the promotion of amateur football in WNY! 7 Orchard Park s Great 8 By Mark Adair Austin Goltz had a huge night as he helped Orchard Park to a win over Jamestown in the Class AA championship game. He played great, Tundo said. Austin had a fantastic game. Goltz caught 4 passes for 57 yards and a pair of TDs. He also intercepted a pass - and had another interception wiped out by a questionable interference call. Austin is very dynamic, coach Gene Tundo said. He can do a lot of things. He has great hands. He s quick and he s strong. Goltz is one of the few players at Orchard Park to have started on both offense and defense, as he starts at WR and DB. We haven t had too many kids who have done that, Tundo said. He s a great receiver and he can carry the ball, which he does sometimes. Goltz is also important to the offense when he doesn t have the ball. He also does a lot of blocking for our running backs, Tundo said. In some of our schemes, he s the lead blocker. Goltz is also versatile on defense. We have him at cornerback, Tundo said, He plays in Man coverage or zone coverage. He could play linebacker or safety, too. He s very unique. He does whatever we need him to. He started last season and helped the Quakers win their second state championship. He made several great plays in the semifinal game against Binghamton, Tundo said, and he played very well in State championship game. Against Jamestown, Goltz opened the scoring in the second quarter when he caught a 28-yard TD pass from Ben Holmes. He gave Orchard Park a lead when he caught an 11-yard TD pass. Both scores where check offs, Tundo said. Ben threw it up and Austin made a great adjustment. Austin re-directed and a made a great play. Goltz intercepted a pass in the second quarter to end a Jamestown drive. He also intercepted a pass in the end zone in the fourth quarter but he was called for interference on the play. It was not a penalty, Tundo said. He made a great, great play on the ball. Goltz is one of the Quakers more athletic players. He is one of the best basketball players at Orchard Park, Tundo said. He s a team captain and the best player on the lacrosse team. Goltz usually plays attack on the lacrosse team but, last spring, showed his versatility in that sport, too. In Section 6 title game against Clarence, we moved him to midfield, Tundo said. We needed someone who had speed and his ability. Even though he was out of position, he had an amazing game. He is that kind of an athlete. You don t get a kid like that over the course of your career. You don t get many kids who are good at three sports. Goltz is also a solid student, maintaining an academic average on the 90s. To be a 3-sport athlete and have the grades that he does, Tundo said, He really has it all together. Goltz will attend Princeton next fall on a lacrosse scholarship. We had three linemen above 300 pounds. This year, it s not any one guy. We have heart and soul. Even if we are down, we get right back in the saddle and keep playing hard. Goltz also had a new experience this season... losing. When Jamestown beat Orchard Park earlier this season, it was the first football game he did not walk off the field as a winner. For the kids in my grade, that was our first time losing a football game since the seventh grade, he said. The bus ride home was pretty quiet. Everyone knew we had a responsibility and we didn t fulfill that. He said that the entire team dedicated itself to never losing another game. The next day at practice everyone worked harder than I have ever seen them work, he said. Losing was not going to become a routine. We don t lose football games at Orchard Park.

It was the 12th Section title for the Quakers under head coach Gene Tundo, who started coaching at OP in But it didn t come easy. The Quakers were tied 7-7 at the half. I felt really good about where we were, Tundo said. in our first four possessions we had driven down to the 20 and the 12 yards line. We were moving the ball. We just weren t finishing our drives. Jamestown took a 14-7 lead in the third quarter a 65- yard pass play. We grabbed our defense and discussed a few things that we had to get better at, Tundo said. Their quarterback was getting too much time and we needed more pressure on him. The Quakers defense stepped up and did not allow another point. The only time Jamestown scored again was on a fumble return with 5 minutes left in the game. Orchard Park RB Mitchell Wilson had a huge day as he rushed for 276 yards and 2 TDs. He broke away for an 80-yard TD run early in the 4th quarter. Jett Modkins added 104 yards rushing as the Quakers rolled up 476 yards on the ground. I felt we were bigger than Jamestown was, Tundo said. I didn t think they could match our size so we decided we were going to run the ball. And our offensive line played well. Our whole offensive line was just tremendous. Orchard Park will now play Section 5 champion Aquinas at All-High Stadium in the Far West Regionals. Aquinas won several NYS titles in Class A before being moved up to Class AA this season. I m excited to be where we are, Tundo said. We ll battle against them. Our offense has scored a lot of points, but defensively we haven t played great. Tundo says the defense finally stepped forward in the team s semifinal win over Lockport two weeks ago. Our defense has gotten better in the last 2 games, he said. In the second half of the game against Lockport and against Jamestown, our kids played great defense. We did a great job of stopping the run the last game and a half. Whenever you can do that you force the offense into tough situations. We stiffened up and started playing better run defense and that transferred over to whole unit. One reason that the Quakers defense has started to shine is the play of the LBs. Senior Connor Eddy made a team-high 9 tackles in the title game, 5 of them solo. He has done an incredible job, Tundo said. As our defense has gotten better, Connor has tightened up. Eddy plays a crucial role at Inside LB. He makes a lot of the calls for us, Tundo said. He ll check into and out of different things based on the other teams formation. He s a good person and a great teammate, Tundo said. He really cares about his teammates a lot and gives you his best every game. Tundo says that Eddy is a team leader. He s one of the guys that everyone looks to lead us, he said. QB Michael Torrillo capped the drive when he hit Carter Mann with a 7-yard scoring pass. It was just a great show of execution and what we can do, Faller said. It made a big statement that we could go that far and make it a two-score game. Torrillo completed 14 of 22 passes for 208 yards and a TD. He s been good this year, Faller said. He doesn t get as much notice as some other quarterbacks in the area but he s had a very good year. The Panthers defense also put together a dominating performance as they held West Seneca East to just 99 yards rushing and 170 yards of total offense. Brad Zaffram intercepted a pass. We ve got speed up front and there aren t too many LBs like Brad Zaffram who can stay with a TESweet Home will now play Eastridge in the Far West Regionals. They are very big upfront, Faller said. Humphrey also caught 2 passes for 55 yards. He gave us 181 yards of offense, Sweet Home coach John Faller said. That s a pretty good night. Humphrey (5-8, 160) is not a huge running back. He s not a big kid, Faller said, but he s a tough little runner with a big burst of speed. He s aggressive and his speed helps. Humphrey was a back-up to Juwan Douglas in 2011 and was slated to start this season. However, those plans were derailed when he was injured in the second game of the season. He got injured against Kenmore West and missed a few games, Faller said. He twisted his knee and got a strained knee ligament, Sweet Home senior Kahlil Humphrey. Humphrey worked hard to return to the field but had some setbacks before he could play. We knew it wasn t a tear or anything, Faller said. It was just a matter of how long it took to heal. He worked very hard in his rehab and he got a little stronger in practice each day. We thought he would play against McKinley but he wasn t quite ready. Humphrey finally reached fullstrength for the Panthers playoff game against Williamsville East. He s a hardworking player who takes everything seriously, Faller said. It gave us a boost to Photo by Walter Stanley get him back. Humphrey has been clocked at 4.6 in the 40-yard dash and also plays lacrosse at Sweet Home. It was the 3rd straight Section 6 title for the Bulldogs. That speaks for itself, Alden coach Dick Diminuco said. The only thing you can say is what a great accomplishment the kids have done with their hard work. It s been done with different kids but for the kids and the coaches, it s pretty special. In the 1st quarter, Alden took the lead when Corey Barczykowski ran 26 yards for a TD. QB Brian Stoldt then hit Alex Darrow with a 9- yard TD pass. We got out to an early 14-0 lead, Diminuco said. Springville is a ball control team. Once you get down a couple of scores, that changes what they are trying to do. Barczykowski finished the day with 175 yards rushing. He has certainly proven that he is one of the top players in Western New York, Diminuco said. If he s not the top player. The last two years, he has shown that he comes to play. Barczykowski also starts at FS for the Bulldogs. He s like a LB, Diminuco said. He comes up and plays the run great. If we have to. we can move him to CB and he ll cover the other teams best receiver. Stoldt completed 7 of 14 passes for 93 yards and also ran for 2 TDs. Brian is a pretty serious kid, Diminuco said. Alden will now play East Rochester in the Far West Regionals at 3:00 pm Saturday at All- High Stadium. They are a good football team, Diminuco said. They are well-coached. You don t get this far without being a good team. That s just a great accomplishment for these kids, coach Dick Diminuco said. That s a great accomplishment for the kids and the coaches. Senior WR Matt Shields had a big day as he caught 5 passes for 85 yards. Shields caught a 45-yard scoring strike to give Alden a 21-0 lead in the second quarter. That was a huge play at that point in the game, Diminuco said. He made a great catch. Shields starts at WR and DB for the Bulldogs. He is one of Alden senior Matt Shields. our most improved players from last year, Diminuco said. He started on defense but didn t play much on offense. We had other kids who were better than him last year. Diminuco says that Shields forced himself into the starting lineup on offense. He worked his fanny off, Diminuco said. He worked hard all summer. He went to camps. He was in the weight room. He made himself one of the most improved players on our team and he has done a great job for us. Diminuco says that Shields made an impression as soon as practice started in August. Right from the first days I noticed that his confidence had improved, he said. Matt was stronger and faster and you could tell he was ready to make the move into being a 2-way starter. Shields has 27 receptions for 391 yards and 5 TDs. Cleve Hill scored when Jacob Radlch hit Jared Watkins with a 58-yard TD pass but the Golden Eagles trailed 14-6 at the half. Fredonia was getting after it, Cleve Hill coach Glen Graham said. They were hitting harder than we were and they were playing harder than we were. Graham said he had a pointed discussion with his players at the half. We discussed things at the half, Graham said. It was loud and it was direct. It s not something I make a habit of, but sometimes you have to remind your guys why the played the game. Graham says that his team seemed awestruck by even playing at The Ralph. We were on our heels, Graham said. But it was made possible by the solid play of the grunts on the offensive and defensive line. Our lines played pretty well, coach Glen Graham said, especially in the second half. One player who was a standout on both sides of the line of scrimmage was senior tackle Ryan Mullen. He played a very good game, Graham said. He has been our most consistant linemen this year. Mullen has been in the Cleve Hill program for 6 seasons. Ryan has been in our program since the 7th grade, Graham said. His older brother played wide receiver on the 2010 team. He has a lot of Cleve Hill football in his bloodline. Mullen, a 2-year starter on the varsity, started all 10 games at C in 2010 but was moved to OT this season. It was out of necessity, Graham said. Cleve Hill senior Ryan Mullen. We needed a tackle. He has good strength and it was a more natural position for him. He was smart enough to make the position change without missing a beat. Mullen (5-11, 235) is not huge. There are bigger kids out there, Graham said, but he s a solid size for a Class C lineman. Mullen is also a hard worker. He s a blue-collar kid, Graham said. He worked hard in the weight room to increase his strength and agility. Mullen s season at C also paid dividends this fall. He can tell anyone of the 5 lineman what their assignment is on any play we run, Graham Photo by Tim Frank said. A big part of that is his experience at center last year. Mullen also maintains a GPA of 3.5 and an academic average in the high 80s. A kid like Ryan has always been a part of our program, Graham said. Nobody sees those offensive line kids and what they do. The Cardinals passed just five times in the game but completed 3 for 27 yards and a TD. We were moving the ball, Slater said. As long as you are moving the ball, why put it up in the air? In the first quarter, QB Mitch Maycock tossed a 4th-down TD pass that required some fortunate bounces. Maple Grove DB Aaron Germain actually intercepted the pass but as he came down, the ball rocketed off the shoulder pad of a Randolph player and landed in the lap of Randolph TE Nate Beaver, who was laying flat on his back in the end zone. We got a little lucky with that, Slater said. I felt that maybe it was our night. Slater says that he did not relax until Jordan Dowiasz ran 55 yards for a TD with 7:49 left in the 4th quarter. Dowiasz finished the night with 214 yards on 22 carries. He scored on runs of 37 and 55 yards. He s put a lot of yards onto the stats sheets this year, Slater said. He s had a real good year so far. The Cardinals have rolled up some impressive rushing totals this season. One of the most overlooked players on the team has been junior QB Mitch Maycock. Mitch has played well this season, coach Pat Slater said. He directs things on the field and he has a nice arm. He throws a pretty nice football and is a threat to throw the ball. When area fans think of Randolph, they think of Ground and Pound football. But, a quick look at the stats shows that Maycock (6-0, 185) has been very effictive this season. The junior has completed 37 of 71 passes for 653 yards and 10 TDs. He s done very well, Slater said. He s not a fantastic runner but he knows the offense and he can pick his spots to throw. He s had a good season. Maycock s older brother Mike started at QB when Randolph won the NYS championship in These kids are starting to look like the 2009 team, Slater said. They are starting to get some of the same characteristics of the 2005 and the 2009 teams. Both of those teams were state champs. I m on Cloud Nine, Ellicottville coach Tim Bergan said. Just with how well these kids executed. We didn t run our normal plays. We ran a lot of misdirection. Those plays took a lot of practice and timing and there was no penetration in our backfield. Bergan has now won Section 6 championships in four different decades. He led the Eagles to titles in 1985, 1991, 2004 and now I think this one is the most special, he said. Those other titles came within a period when we were considered one of the premier small-school teams in Western New York. We had winning season after winning season. Bergan says that this year s team had to grow into being a championship contender. This group of kids was 2-6 two years in a row, Bergan said. They were 4-4 last season. Now they are champions. Junior QB Cam Wilson executed the offense flawlessly and also tossed a 39- yard TD pass. Cam was the one kid mainly responsible for how well we played on offense, Bergan said. He threw a TD pass, he ran for a TD pass and he caught a TD pass. He also led the sweep a few times. His fakes in the backfield were made with precision. I know the score was big at the end of the game but our kids actually played tremendously well. Our kids battled hard and they found out that they can play with some of the best teams around. St. Francis has now won 3 straight. We are a very different St. Francis team than we were in the beginning of the season, Smith said. One player who has had a solid season is senior team captain Jarrett Dolegala, who starts at ILB. He hurt his shoulder at the scrimmage, Smith said. Now his shoulder is pretty good and that has really helped the defense. Dolegala (6-2, 228) is one of the faster players on the Raiders defense. 22 CoverStory By Mark Adair Mighty Mouse WNY s smallest player leads Ellicottville to DD Championship Ellicottville roared out to a 34-0 lead at the half and won the Class DD title with a win over Clymer at Ralph Wilson Stadium last week. Sophomore RB Phalla Musall led the offense as he ran for 149 yards and 2 TDs on 25 carries. With Ellicottville leading 14-0, Musall scored the biggest TD of the game when he broke through the line and ran untouched for a 42-yard score. We ran a 26G Lead, Ellicottville coach Tim Bergan said. We pull our left guard, the fullback led through the hole and Phalla was untouched. Once he was out in front, it was a footrace and it was no footrace. He was gone. The only thing they were looking at was his heels. And while Musall had a great performance during the game, he says that his favorite part of the day came as he walked with his teammates through the tunnel and onto the field before the game. It was amazing, he said. To walk through the tunnel that all those great football players have walked down... wow. I can t even explain how it feels. It s just amazing. The day was the perfect end to a fantastic season for Musall, who rushed for 1,333 yards and 14 TDs. Musall is also a odd case. He is hardly a physical specimen as one might expect from a punishing runner. In fact, Musall is the smallest player in WNY as he stands just 5-foot-3 and weighs 130 pounds. People can t believe he s even on the team, Bergan said. But when you see him knock people down that are 6-1 and 200 pounds, you get your eyes opened. He rushed for 149 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Eagles to a win in the Class DD championship game last week. 20 Throughout the game, Musall launched himself into far bigger players and flattened them. Several times he corralled Clymer s star RB Dan Wiggers and brought him down. Phalla has no fear, Bergan said. He had a number of solo tackles on one of the better running backs around. Phalla could have been the Offense and the Defensive player of the game. Musall, who has seven brothers and sisters, also has an unusual story. Kathleen and Gerry Musall had two children the old-fashioned way. And then they adopted six more children from various parts of Asia. Phalla came from Cambodia when the Musall s adopted the boy and his twin sister Daneth (who plays on the Ellicottville girls soccer team.) We got Phalla in 2000, when he and his sister were 3 years old, Gerry Musall said. My wife and I found that, the younger the kids were when we adopted them, the easier the transition was. Raising children is always difficult... but dealing with adopted children from other countries brings special hurdles to overcome. Asian children are smaller than most kids, Gerry Musall said. When we adopted two of our children, the agency we were working with told us they were three years old. It turned out, they were really six years old. The transition to becoming an American child was much more difficult on the older children. Phalla and his sister had a much easier time making See Cover Story on page 23

23 CoverStory continued from page 22 the transition to the English language because they were so much younger when they came here, Gerry said. Phalla, like the rest of his siblings, was drawn to athletics when he was younger. All of my kids played sports, Gerry said. Phalla really liked football and baseball from the time he was very young. Musall says he was asked to play midget football by some of his friends. My friends noticed I was fast, he said. They told me I should play football and that it would be fun. Musall also learned that if he was going to play football, he would have to learn to dish out hits that would earn the respect of players who were much bigger than he was. I ve always been smaller than everyone else, Phalla said. I took a beating from everyone else but I learned that size doesnt matter. I worked out to make myself stronger so I could hit, too. Bergan says he knew Phalla would be a player on his football team years ago. From the time he was in elementary school he was a running back, Bergan said. He took his midget team to the Super Bowl. Back then, all he did was run around everybody. No one could catch him. Bergan had to teach Musall a different style of running when the player reached the Ellicottville high school program. He found out we have a lot of fast players on the varsity, Bergan said. He couldn t just run around everybody. He actually had to learn to follow blockers and look for the holes. It took him a year but he really found himself this season. The Musall family was rocked last summer when Phalla s mom, Kathleen Musall was killed in a motorcycle accident in nearby Great Valley. It was a kick in the guts, Gerry Musall said. I think it was the hardest on my two biological children, they are the oldest kids. But Phalla was close to his mom, too. Phalla found out about the accident when he returned from a fun day at the Cattaraugus County Fair. I came home from the fair and my brother told me what happened, he said. She and my sister were riding bikes. My sister was there when it happened. It didn t seem real. Phalla says that the past year has been difficult. It s been different and pretty hard, Phalla said, but I m sticking in there and playing hard for my mom. She was there for every single one of my games. This season, Phalla played with two stickers on his helmet. One says , the date that Kathleen was killed. The other says simply Mom. I think about her before every game, he said. I know she would have been there watching. Phalla says he felt her presence at The Ralph. She would have been really proud of me in the championship game, he said. 24 Team Reports Western New York 2012 F O C U S O N Action Jackson Sparks CH Cleve Hill was in danger of losing to Fredonia again. The Golden Eagles had lost their last 3 games to Fredonia and they trailed the Class C championship game 14-6 at the half. Not only that, the Eagles were playing tentatively and were not aggressive. All week we talked about beating Fredonia, Cleve Hill coach Glen Graham said. We talked about how aggressive we needed to be. When the Eagles reached the locker room at the half, Graham addressed his players directly and firmly. That s not something I make a point of doing very often, Graham said. but sometimes you have to remind your players why they played the game. Junior Aaron Jackson apparently took Graham s words to heart. He took the second-half kickoff and returned it 74 yards for a TD. That was a huge play, Graham said. It was a nice spark that we really needed. The momentum switch was immediate. Jackson had actually made good on a boast he made to Cleve Hill Assistant coach Tom Bester. Tom told Aaron to get us some good field position, Graham said. Aaron looked at him and said, I m taking this all the way for a touchdown. Aaron really does not lack for confidence. Graham said he did not know about the exchange between his player and his assistant. There were an awful lot of congratulations going on between them, Graham said with a laugh. They were laughing pretty hard on the sidelines. I didn t find out about this until a day later. Jackson is not a full time starter for Cleve Hill. In addition to returning kicks, he will play DB and WR depending on different formations and packages. He was the starting quarterback on our JV team the last two years, Graham said. Phil came right in and took over at safety as a freshman, Cortland coach Dan MacNeill said. He is a legitimate, 4-year starter. That doesn t happen very often at the college level. MacNeill said that Bossman may have actually been the easiest recruiting job he ever had. He in to my office in the summertime before his senior year at East Aurora, MacNeill said. He came in with his tape. We put the tape on and it was an easy one. He would definitely be a top-recruit for us. College Football Bossman stars for Cortland East Aurora grad Phil Bossman is a 4-year starter for Cortland State. There were other schools looking at Bossman, however. We knew he would be a special talent, MacNeill said. Colgate and Lehigh were looking at him, too. We encouraged him to come to a Cortland game. Bossman came back to Cortland to see the Dragons host Montclair State. We beat Montclair, MacNeill said. He got home after the game, called me and committed to Photo by SUNY Cortland Cortland. Bossman calls the signals for the defense. He is a solid football player, MacNeill said. He is an intelligent football player and hopefully he ll have a great senior season.
