This is the second and final matchup of the season against the Thunder. The Cavs are 5-3 in their last 8 overall games against the Thunder, which includes a 2-1 mark in their last 3 games at Oklahoma City. TRISTAN THOMPSON recorded his 4th straight double-double (10th of the season), tallying 16 points on 7-10 (.700) shooting, a game-high 11 rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block in 40 minutes of play against Minnesota. Thompson s four consecutive double-doubles (16.0 PTS, 14.8 REB, 36.0 MIN since Nov. 21) ties his career-best accomplished seven other times and once this season (most recently 11/5-11/13). Thompson has also recorded a double-double in 8 of his last 10 games, averaging 14.5 points (.571 FG%), 13.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 32.1 minutes per game since Nov. 5. On the season, he is averaging career highs in total rebounds per game (11.4, 11th-best in NBA) and offensive rebounds per game (5.2, 2nd in NBA). KYLE KORVER converted on a season-high six three-pointers (6-9,.667) and finished with a season-best 22 points, two rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes off the bench on Monday night. It was Korver s second game with at least 20 points on the season (21 PTS at Detroit, 10/25/18). COLLIN SEXTON recorded 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists in 35 minutes on Monday. He has scored in double figures in each of his 9 starts, averaging 18.7 points, including.476 (10-21) shooting from beyond the arc, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 34.0 minutes per game. NBA ALL-STAR HISTORY IN CLEVELAND Cleveland last hosted NBA All-Star in 1997, when the league celebrated its 50th anniversary season. The NBA s 50 Greatest Players were honored during a ceremony at halftime of the All-Star Game. The 1997 NBA All-Star Game featured a historic performance from Charlotte Hornets forward Glen Rice, who set an All-Star record for points in a quarter with 20 in the third period. Rice finished with 26 points to lead the Eastern Conference past the Western Conference , earning MVP honors. The Capital City Go-Go (3-4) used an efficient shooting night and defensive pressure to defeat the Canton Charge (3-5), , on Sunday afternoon. Capital City shot 50 percent from the field (45-of-90) and 44 percent from three (11-of-25), led by Devin Robinson s 12-of-14 shooting night. Robinson tallied his second-consecutive 29-point game against the Charge and added 10 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the young season. Wizards first-round draft pick and assignment player, Troy Brown Jr., had a solid contribution of 19 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in the game. The Go-Go continued to capitalize on opponent s turnovers, as they forced the Charge into 23, leading to 32 points tying a season high in points off turnovers (WCB 11/9). Eight different Go-Go players tallied a steal in the game, leading to a season-high 15 steals. Chris Chiozza led the way defensively with four steals. All five Capital City starters scored in double figures for the thirdstraight game.
