Turnpike to Exit 20 (I-476). Follow I-476 South to I-76 East, toward Philadelphia. Follow I-76 East to Exit 339 (US-1 South/City Avenue). Turn left onto 54th Street and then right into parking lot. From the East: From the Ben Franklin Bridge (via I-676) or the Walt Whitman Bridge: Follow I-76 West to Exit 339 (US-1/City Avenue). Turn left onto 54th Street and then right into parking lot. From the South: I-95 North to I-476 North. Follow I-476 North to Exit 5 (US-1). Follow US-1 North to SJU, approximately 10 miles. Turn right onto 54th Street and right into parking lot. From the West: PA Turnpike to Exit 326 (Valley Forge). Follow I-76 East, toward Philadelphia, to Exit 339 (US- 1 South/City Avenue). Turn left onto 54th Street and right into parking lot. From Philadelphia International Airport: I-95 North to I-76 West. Follow I-76 West to Exit 339 (US-1 South/City Avenue). Turn left onto 54th Street and right into parking lot. Bus and Van drop off: From the North: proceed south on City Avenue to 54th Street, turn left. Go to the first driveway on the right (just past the speed bump) and enter the Mandeville Parking Lot. Proceed to the front entrance of the Hagan Arena. Team locker rooms are in Hagan Arena. Sweeney Field is to the right. Spectator parking is available at Hawks Landing, located off City Avenue at 54th Street. To access the lot, follow the directions above, but at the speed bump, turn left into the lot. Sweeney Field is located just past the main entrance of the campus, adjacent to Mandeville Hall. RYAN FIELD/SMITHSON FIELD/SOFTBALL COMPLEX/SJU TENNIS COMPLEX (Field Hockey/Baseball/Softball/Tennis) (GPS Address: 376 N. Latches Lane, Merion Station, PA 19066) Bus drop off: From the North: proceed south on City Avenue past 54th street. Go to the first traffic light past 54th street and turn right at the light. After the second house on the left, turn left toward McShain Hall. Follow the lane to the end; team members can be dropped off. The bus is to proceed off campus. Van drop off: Teams traveling by vans will follow the directions for Bus Drop-off. Van parking will be available in Hawks Landing. The vans are to proceed off campus by going right out of the lot. At the next traffic light (Cardinal Avenue), turn left. The van will continue to make 3 additional left turns. After the last left, at 54th Street, Hawks Landing is on the right. Team members will follow the path toward the O Pake Recreation Center. Locker rooms are located in the O Pake Center. Ryan Field is located along City Ave. near the drop off point; the baseball and softball fields are behind the O Pake Center. The Tennis Complex is located to the right side of the O Pake Center. Spectator parking is available at Hawks Landing, located off City Avenue at 54th Street. To access the lot, follow the directions above, but at the speed bump, turn left into the lot. Maguire Campus facilities are a short walk up City Avenue on the right.

9 GAME DAY ARRIVAL: Upon arrival at Saint Joseph s, visiting teams should check in with the attendant at the front desk of Hagan Arena. The attendant will direct the teams to equipment room personnel, who will provide assistance with locker rooms, medical supplies, etc. ADMISSION: Admission is free to all Saint Joseph s University contests held at Ellen Ryan Field, John W. Smithson Field, the SJU Softball Complex, the SJU Tennis Complex, and Sweeney Field. For men s and women s basketball ticketing information, please contact the Saint Joseph s ticket office at (610) PARKING: On-campus car parking is limited during the week when classes are in session. Buses may drop team members off before and pick teams up after competition. The security staff will inform the bus driver about appropriate parking locations. Team vans will be permitted on campus, and will be afforded parking as space becomes available. MEDICAL NEEDS: A Certified Athletic Trainer will be present at all Saint Joseph s home athletic contests. All pertinent medical supplies will be available. Ice and water will be provided for team benches. Paramedics are present at all men s and women s basketball games at Hagan Arena. Paramedics are also on-call for all other on-campus athletic contests. PRACTICE EQUIPMENT: Pre-game practice equipment (balls, cones, etc.) will be available on the field/court upon the opposing team s arrival. Each team is entitled to one 60-second timeout (which cannot be extended for electronic media). Electronic media is entitled to nine timeouts, gaining access to the ninth timeout when the first coach-called 30-second timeout is taken anytime in the second half. Electronic media timeouts are at the first dead ball after the 16:00 (i.e., 15:59), 12:00, 8:00 and 4:00 marks, even if it is a foul shooting situation. Electronic media timeouts are 105 seconds in length. The first 30-second timeout in the second half called by a coach becomes a fulllength electronic media timeout, but does not replace one of the scheduled four in that half. After a coach calls the first 30-second timeout in the second half, no other 30-second timeouts in regulation time called by a coach will become electronic media timeouts they will all be 30 seconds. In overtime, each team receives one additional 30-second timeout per overtime period. Unused timeouts from the second half or earlier overtime periods may be carried over.
