3 Athletic Training Services Visiting Team Services Taping, wrapping, and modalities are available to every visiting team. Please make sure that your team arrives with a medical kit that is stocked with all necessary supplies. If your team is not traveling with an athletic trainer, please notify us at least one day in advance of any pregame treatments that your team will require. An athletic trainer will be will be available one (1) hour prior to the start of the contest and will close 30 minutes after the contest ends. An ATC will be present and water, ice, and emergency equipment will be provided. No towels will be provided by the Athleitc Training Services. Visiting teams requiring in-house athletic training services should contact the Athletic Training office at at least 24 hours in advance of the contest date. From Pennsylvania Turnpike: Get off at the Willow Grove Exit 343 (old 27) and go south on 611 towards Abington (about 4 miles) Look for the Timber Bar & Grill on your left (Abington Hospital on your right) at that light make a left onto Woodland Road Go through two stop signs and make a right onto Cloverly Lane. The Athletics Building is a ½ mile around the curve on your left.

6 ALVERTHORPE PARK (BASEBALL) *Off-campus site GPS Address- 500 Forrest Avenue, Jenkintown, PA or From Pennsylvania Turnpike to Alverthorpe Park: Get off the Willow Grove Exit 343 (old 27) and go south on 611 towards Abington. Take 611 south through Jenkintown to (Rt.73 East) Township Line Road. (Look for Bryner Chevrolet) make a left at the light. On Township Line Road make left turn at second light onto Forrest Ave. Take Forrest Ave for 1 mile. Alverthorpe Park is on your left. *Park Policy: NO PETS!

7 HUNTINGDON FIELD (SOFTBALL) *Off-campus site GPS Address Huntingdon Road, Abington, PA From campus to Huntingdon Field Go out the Athletics Building parking lot and make a right on to Cloverly Road. Take Cloverly Road to Woodland Road. Make a left on to Woodland Road and go to the first stop sign. At the stop sign make a left on to Huntingdon Road. Take Huntingdon Road for a mile the field is on your left. Take Cloverly Road to Woodland Road. Make a left on to Woodland Road and go to the first stop sign. At the stop sign make a left on to Huntingdon Road. Take Huntingdon Road for a mile the field is on your left at the top of the hill (past the softball field). From Pennsylvania Turnpike to Huntingdon Field Get off at the Willow Grove Exit 343 (old 27) and go south on 611 towards Abington (about 4 miles). 9 LORIMER PARK (CROSS COUNTRY) *Off-campus site GPS Address- 183 Moredon Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA *Charter Bus Parking: 8500 Pine Road, Rockledge, PA The Penn State Abington Invitational is held at Lorimer Park, between Huntingdon Pike (Route 232) and Pine Road. It is less than four miles from the Penn State Abington campus and seven miles from Willow Grove. To arrive at the park, follow the directions to Fox Chase Farm. There will be people as well as signs directing you to the park from there. Lorimer Park is on the other side of the fence of Fox Chase Farm. PARKING: ALL Large buses (over 15 passenger vans) MUST park on Pine Road. Moredon Road is too small for larger buses to travel through and is impassable. Spectators can park at the Moredon Road parking lot, however we strongly suggest to park on either side of Pine Road.

10 SPORTSMANSHIP STATEMENT The NCAA, North Eastern Athletic Conference and Penn State Abington promote good sportsmanship by the student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments or other intimidating actions directed toward officials, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. Also, consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages or tobacco products is prohibited. We thank you for your cooperation.

Coaches and student-athletes abide by the spirit and letter of the sport playing rules and are gracious in both victory and defeat. Competition is conducted in a nondiscriminatory manner that encourages enthusiastic, positive support of the participants and teams by all spectators. Profanity; sexist, ethnic, or racial comments; or, other intimidating actions will not be tolerated. Consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages, smoking, and the use of artificial noisemakers is prohibited. As hosts, we are responsible for providing the visitors with an environment that would meet our expectations if the roles were reversed. This is our home; please treat it as you would your own.
