GENERAL INFORMATION FOR VISITORS PARKING Team Parking: All teams will be mailed two complimentary parking permits to be displayed in vehicle windshields for game day parking in the UC Merced Lake

4 GENERAL INFORMATION FOR VISITORS PARKING Team Parking: All teams will be mailed two complimentary parking permits to be displayed in vehicle windshields for game day parking in the UC Merced Lake Lots. Officials Parking: All officials will be mailed one complimentary parking permit to be displayed in vehicle s windshield for game day parking in the UC Merced Lake Lots. Visitor/Fan Parking: Hourly parking permits for visitors and fans are available from the yellow kiosks at Lake Lots 1 & 2. Prices are as follows: 0-2 hours = $2 2-4 hours = $3 4-6 hours = $4 ALL DAY = $6 Handicap Parking is available near facilities but a parking permit must be purchased. For reference, please see campus map on page 13 of this guide or visit tap.ucmerced.edu. TICKETS Complimentary tickets will be given to teams whose contracts so require. Any teams receiving complimentary tickets will need to submit a list of the recipients to Matt Pucci, Events Coordinator (mpucci@ucmerced.edu), at least 24 hours prior to the contest. They may receive and sign out their ticket at the ticket table on the day of the game. LOCKER ROOMS Locker rooms are located in the Joseph Edward Gallo Recreation Center. Each volleyball and basketball visiting team will have a team room/meeting room provided to them, excluding tournaments. Each soccer and cross country team will have public locker room access before and after the game/meet. 3

5 MEDIA RELATIONS The Sports Information Office serves as a link between the UC Merced athletes, coaches, administrators, and the media. The Sports Information Office attempts to provide timely and accurate coverage of UC Merced athletics by coordinating interviews, servicing the information needs of a reporter, and by maintaining statistics, photos and historical records. A hard copy of statistics for visiting teams (basketball, soccer and volleyball) will be provided to coaches at halftime/intermission and after the game. An electronic copy of the statistics will be ed to the visiting team SID after the completion of each game. Video for basketball and volleyball games will be available via Game Tape Xchange or Synergy. All visiting team coaches will receive access to their respective game which will allow them to download or burn the game to a DVD. CONCESSIONS Concessions will be available at all home basketball, soccer, and volleyball games. Concessions will be in the southwest corner of the gymnasium as well as at the Lake Field entrance. Items sold: Pepsi products, Gatorade, water, and assorted candy. PROHIBITED ITEMS There is a no-tolerance alcohol policy at all athletic events. UC Merced is dedicated to upholding a high standard of sportsmanship-like conduct; therefore, the use of noisemakers is prohibited at indoor games. If these items are seen, they will be confiscated; if a person is under the influence of alcohol, they will be escorted off the premises. If the individual(s) under the influence are under the age of 21, security will be called. LOST AND FOUND If an item is lost and retrieved by our staff it will be kept with our Facility Operations Staff at the front desk of the Joseph Edward Gallo Recreation Center until claimed.
