2 What worked or went well?: Edwin: All the candidates were able to visit each room and we were on timed schedule. Beth: DCMs were really fun! Also all candidates were on time and had great answers to all members questions. Stephanie: Having an MC for the both opening and closing session made the transition from speaker to speaker run more fluidly. Felipe: Everyone made awesome comments about the rally! Antoinette: The candidates had adequate time to go from room to room because all the classes were nearby! Cassie: Free entrance with breakfast and lunch included definitely increased attendance. David: Well organized sign-in system. Nice space for sign-in area. Good scripting of general sessions What would you do differently?: Edwin: Opening and closing sessions - Not because we didn't have the correct information or weren't delivering it correctly, but because there was too much talking. Beth: The food situation at closing session didn't go too well, everyone just rushed up to get food and didn't listen to any instruction. Stephanie: Something we could have improved on was the choice of rooms for our workshops/dcm's. Although the science rooms are large, only half of the actual room has desks, so only participants had seats. Felipe: I don't think that the ice breaker was that effective. Maybe with a more interactive ice breaker than the one we had SZR might have been a little more integrated. Also Antoinette: The opening session needs to be timed better as it led on to the workshop times and cut it short. Cassie: To know beforehand if rooms are either PC or Mac friendly so we can plan in advance. David: Need to be sure to check out the sound system in advance because the one used was inadequate. It would have been better for the general sessions to have theatre style seating (more conducive to this kind of meeting). Needed a guest list from the beginning and to let all sign-in tables aware of where it was. Complete the club attendance section on the next page then answer these questions.
