6 Phase One If you haven t received a confirmation of your application by the 19 th October 2017 please contact Stacey ASAP. office@netballnt.org.au Darwin MIS Saturday 21 October, am Alice Springs ASNA Stadium Sunday 22 October, 9-11am Those selected will need to commit to an agreed training regime that fits with their personal circumstances. 2-5 times per week. Wear a WHITE shirt or singlet and DARK shorts, Arrive by 8:30am SHARP to get your name marked off You must be strapped and ready to start at 9am SHARP. Athlete Management System (AMS) It is essential that all 19s use AMS from Phase 1 and 17s from Phase 2 onwards. (See below for more information) Phase Two 17U and 19U ONLY Friday Sunday 17th 19th November 2017 Palmerston Rec Centre - 11 The Blvd, Palmerston City NT 0830 Friday 5pm 8pm Saturday 9am 5pm Sunday 9am 1pm Those selected will need to commit to an agreed training regime that fits with their personal circumstances. 3-5 times per week. Last year the teams travelled to Brisbane will be interstate again details Accommodation & Games venue Once you are selected into the Final team if you cannot attend the final camp you will need to submit an application for exemption by 15 th December Changes made after this date will be at the player s own expense. 6

7 Championships Information Flights DARWIN: You will be flying out approx. 7:00 am Saturday 14 th April 2018 (Subject to change depending on flights) Returning 9:50pm Sunday 22nd April 2018 (Subject to change depending on flights) ALICE SPRINGS: You will be flying out approx. 9:00 am Saturday 14 th April 2018 (Subject to change depending on flights) Returning 1:00 pm Monday 23rd April 2018 (Subject to change depending on flights All flights will be booked by the 16 th February If you have any changes to travel you will need to submit a change of residence/travel details form (even if you are not 100% sure please let us know your plans ASAP) by the 16 th February Changes made after this date will be at the player s expense. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU WONT BE LOCATED IN DARWIN or ALICE SPRINGS FROM THIS POINT ON (away for university, on a school trip, on a holiday etc etc) you will need to fill in a change of residence/travel details form. Even if you are not 100% sure please let us know your plans once you have been selected in the final team. Tickets for Family and Friends Estimated to be approx.- Adults Championship Pass $60 Day Pass $15 Concession/Student- Championships Pass $40 Day Pass $10 4 and under Free Just to give you a rough idea. Netball NT will not be organising this please head to the Netball SA website for more details when they are released. 7

The cost per player amounts to over $3000 however, with NT government funding and a contribution by Netball NT the 2017 player contribution is $2200 (plus uniform) The Netball NT uniform costs will be invoiced to the players once the orders have been placed. Invoices will be ed out once the final team is confirmed if you would like to organise a payment plan please contact Shelley Haynes on manager@netballnt.org.au or (08) Sponsorship Please contact Stacey at Netball NT for a sponsorship information form which can be used to assist with the cost. Fundraising activities may also take place to assist with cost reduction. Fundraising If you would like to fundraise (example host a BBQ) this is completely up to the PLAYERS AND PARENTS to organise FULLY. 9 EITAAP Grant The Elite Indigenous Travel and Accommodation Assistance Program (EITAAP) is an initiative that is jointly managed by the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and Australian Government Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C). Funding is for athletes, coaches, managers or officials to assist with out-of-pocket travel and accommodation expenses when attending eligible national championships or international competitions. Go to for more information Courses and Agreements 1. NA Participation Agreement will need to be signed and returned once you are into the second phase. If you are under 18 your parents must sign as well as yourself. 2. The NNT player agreement will need to be signed and returned once accepted into the final team. Once the final team is announced can you please sign and return this to Stacey. (A copy of this will be given to you when you apply) The following online courses MUST be completed and a copy of your certificate s to be sent to Stacey after you have been selected to go through to Phase Getting to know NetSetGO Umpire Exam- theory-exam/ 3. Signed Anti-Doping Declaration 4. ASADA Level 2 (If completed Lvl 1 in 2015) 5. Keep Sport Honest- 9

10 Athlete Management System (AMS) The Athlete Management System [AMS] is a web based software designed specifically for athlete data management. The AMS will form the platform for collecting athlete data in wellness and training loads and will incorporate athlete training plans or periodisation, coach and performance analysis, medical and rehabilitation notes, sport science input as well as a general administration processes. The AMS can be used on a computer, tablet or smartphone and data can be entered regardless of internet accessibility on some devices.
