3 REPORTS: TREASURER: Please ensure clubs have all their training court requests in by Sat 10 th March. Club payments for registrations are due by Sat 10 th March. SSNA understands that some clubs may still be waiting on active kid s rebates. Clubs to take note of how much time the active kid s reconciliation is actual taking to perform. Life Member Fatima NSW REPORT: Netball NSW conference 10 th &11 th March. Full rego $380pp Saturday only $220 Sunday only $190 Prices include entry to pre-season games on the day/s of attendance Directors to be voted upon shortly NSW are undertaking a competitions framework review AGM to be held Sat 24 th March Sharks Connells Pt EXECUTIVE: Active Kids program discussed Roll out of Strategic Plan SSC are currently repairing the top courts at Bellingara Bench officials are required for each Metro League game at Netball Central. Please let Jenny in the office know if you are interested in training to become a bench official. Life Member

4 REGISTRARS: Swap Night was held last Monday night. Went well and was finished by 8.10pm. Clubs to ensure all information is provided on yellow cards regarding playing history. Clubs can de-register on MyNetball up until 28 th February Storm Life Member UMPIRES CONVENOR: Theory course for Beginner Umpires to be run on Fri 16 th March. Cost $15pp. SSNA will not be running a practical course this year. Clubs to supply their own umpires for 10yrs grading. Clubs will be able to coach beginner umpires on their teams. National B Camp 18 th March National C Camp 13 th May 10yrs Practical grading no piercings, nails etc. All umpires need to be registered through MyNetball Thanks to clubs who provided umpires for the Manly carnival and rep selections A1/A2 umpires please supply your names to the Umpires Convenor with their availabilities. Umpires will be paid $30 per game. Clubs to be invoiced. Storm Greenpoint TOURNAMENT: Finals and Grand Finals times 2018 have been provided. Maybe be some changes are grading. Tournament requests to be sent through to the office. Storm Sharks

5 COACHING CO-ORDINATOR: 11yrs Development Squad information attached. Eagles asked how many teams would be selected. Depends on nominations and coaches available. A coach is required for Metro League Team 3 Taren Point SELECTION & REPS: State Age Selections finalised yesterday. Greenpoint N/C asked if SSNA could provide player s trialling for reps wih some information on what to expect should they be selected. Menai Gymea VICE PRESIDENT: Judy McLachlan has ordered all rep uniforms and organising a costing for parents. RETURNING OFFICER: Calling for nominations for:- Vice President Registrar Committees Coaching Committee Sponsorship and Marketing Coach & Managers 12yrs Representative Manager

6 The President and Returning Officer advised that these roles need to be filled so the can run effectively. Clubs to speak with their members and gauge any interest. GENERAL BUSINESS: Masquerade Gala Dinner Saturday 23 rd June 2018 to celebrate 50yrs of State Age. More info to follow. Nursery cannot run without helpers. One person from each club to be rostered on each week. Nursery to commence on Day 4 not Day 5 as advertised in the calendar. Tradies BIBS to be worn once again at Seymour Shaw. Neoprene hats were suggested instead of BIBS. Barden Ridge new uniform displayed. Magpies enquired as to the colour of their BIB as it previously has been hard to distinguish from the Magpies uniform. SSC has provide no further information regarding leasing the Control Building and Seymour Shaw. A DA is in for transitional housing at the old nursing home next door to control on Bellingara Rd. Fencing alongside this dwelling that needs repair. Please complete our online petition for a grant for a kitchen upgrade and Umpire course subsidies.
