Thankyou to the many helpers on the day who helped make the day run smoothly. A huge thankyou to Sue Oehm for organising the day and all the time spent to make it another successful event. There was lots of great food prepared for the day and our swimmers did a fantastic job in the pool with many p.bs and medals won. In all we won 7 Gold Medals 1 Silver Medal and 6 Bronze. OUR NEXT GENERAL MEETING WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY 2 nd JULY AT 6.30PM IN THE CRECHE AT OASIS-ALL MEMBERS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.

2 NATIONAL AGE CHAMPIONSHIPS Congratulations to Callie Cameron who competed at the Australian Age Swimming Championships in April in 100m Breaststroke and 200m Breaststroke. All your hard work has paid off. Well Done! INFORMATION ON CLUB NIGHT: Race entries for Monday Night Club Night can be sent via to or by filling out a Club Night Race Card which can be found on our website swimwest.nswswimming.com.au These entry cards can be given to Jon & Jen Carter or they can be placed in the mail slot at the end of the indoor pool no later than the Saturday prior to the upcoming club night. Late entries will also been taken on the night but you need to be at the pool no later than 6pm to ensure your swimmer makes it into the nights programme. Please be aware that if your child is swimming at club night we will need your help with timekeeping as we cannot run a successful night without everyone s help. More information on our club night can be found on the clubs website. PLEASE NOTE: CLUB NIGHT ENTRIES ARE TO BE SUBMITTED BY SUNDAY. There has been a growing number of members which are arriving to Monday Club Night and have not submitted their entries. This means that the program needs to be adjusted to allow for the late entries. We ask that all members submit their entries by the Sunday cut-off to allow for the events to commence on time and finish on time. Your co-operation in this matter would be much appreciated.

3 North West Metro Championships We had 18 swimmers competing at the North-West Metro Championships on 7-8 th June. Our swimmers should be proud of themselves for their efforts at a 2 day carnival with some great p.bs. This was also the first carnival that our swimmers got to show off our new club costumes. A HUGE THANKYOU TO Julie Francis who put in a lot of time organising the design and styles to suit everybody. Our swimmers looked great! Congratulations to the following medal winners Callie Cameron 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze Mitchell Lowe 1 Silver and Reece McInerney 1 Gold.

ALL ENTRIES must be accompanied by payment or direct deposit details and placed in the race entry box at Oasis. REMINDER: Please ensure that all entry cards are thoroughly and accurately completed including ID numbers and date and place achieved for qualifying times. (Please read the entry requirements on the reverse side of entry cards if unsure.) Swimming Metro North West have recently reiterated the importance of this information and have asked all Clubs to pass this request on to Club members.

6 Please also be aware that entry fees are due before submitting cards for events. If you are paying by Direct deposit, please reference the deposit date on your entry. Cash or cheques should be included with entry cards. If you have any questions regarding Meet Entries please contact Di Lowe on COACHING FEES: JUST A REMINDER TERM 3 COMMENCES 1 ST JULY. COACHING FEES FOR TERM 3 ARE DUE END OF JULY. Payments can be made direct to the clubs bank account (details following) by cash or cheque (made out to "Swimwest Club") these can be placed in an envelope with your family name details on the front and can be placed in the Race Secretary Box (receipts will be given for cash payments).
