2 Dear 4-H Member/Parent/Leader: This is your copy of the 4-H Project Exhibit Book for the Ontario County Fair. Please keep it in a handy spot for reference. Read it carefully to avoid errors. Please fill out the appropriate pre-entry forms if applicable. Pre-entry is needed for any animal that is coming to the fair. There is a separate entry form for each species of animal. ANIMAL ENTRIES ARE DUE IN THE 4-H OFFICE OR POSTMARKED BY JULY 1. General exhibits in the building do not need to be pre-entered by 4-H members. 4-H leaders requesting a club booth space need to complete the 4-H Booth Space reservation form that is also due July 1. That form is at the end of this publication or can be found on the website. 4-H members need to complete an Exhibitors Entry Card for each entry for exhibit in the building. There is a special Cloverbud exhibit card for Cloverbud exhibitors to complete. The judging of exhibits and the building set up of booths is on Sunday afternoon before the county fair begins. Check the schedule in this book or on the website for the exact time. All exhibitors need to complete a voucher form stating a list of all exhibits entered at the fair. Vouchers are on the website. Entry cards are available at the 4-H office or can be picked up at fair clean up night. All other forms are available online at Contact the 4-H office for answers to any questions you might have. We look forward to seeing you at the Ontario County Fair. Exhibiting 4-H projects at the fair provides youth with valuable learning experiences and recognition. Exhibits also provide a venue which the public can gain a sense of breadth and depth of 4-H projects and activities. The fair is a great way to showcase the talent of the 4-H members of Ontario County. If you have any questions about exhibiting at the fair, contact the 4-H office.
