3 MERCED COUNTY SPRING FAIR BOARD OF DIRECTORS PRESIDENT S LETTER Brett Silva It is almost that time of year, the time of year for the May Day Spring Fair! For some exhibitors, that time seems to be all year round. Whether it s working on their project from welding a trailer to fixing engines to making something with wood or whether it s caring for their animals and going to other shows, it feels like its always fair time. Imagine the Fun is the theme this year. Perfect! Everyone has great memories of past fairs and everyone imagines what the next year will bring. This year will be a great year! Imagine winning first place in a contest. Imagine the smell of corn dogs and cinnamon rolls. Imagine the feeling you get at the top of the Ferris wheel. Imagine the sights and sounds of young children as they learn and interact with the Little Hands for Ag exhibit and imagine the children s awe when they see the animals. Imagine the Fun the fair gives us. I hope everyone will come and join in the fun at the fair. For one week a year the fair is a place to go and to see the animal exhibits, ride the rides, and eat the food and enjoy all the festivities the fair has to offer. For one week a year there is no better place to be. Imagine the fun! Sincerely, Brett Silva Fair Board President Jonathan Andrews Larry Bergman Larry Borelli James Buttrey Pat Gallichio Bridget Martinelli Stacey Machado Jeremy O Banion Paul Parreira Nikki Patricio Mark Pazin Michael Santos Scott Silveira Luis Lara 3
