Minimum Age: Youth must be at least 14 years of age by Jan. 1, 2019 to compete. Maximum Age: Youth must be no older than 18 on Sept. 1, 2018 to participate. To be selected for the national competition team, youth must not turn 19 before Jan. 1, Thus, youth in their final year of 4-H who turn 19 in September, October, November, or December 2018 may participate in the state contest but cannot be selected for the national contest. Shoot dates: Archery will be held September 8 at the Pekin Archers in Pekin.
