Why Explore. Finding, is reserved for the seekers. We are used to hear that beauty is obvious, and all around us, yet this is not always the case. Exploration, does not need to be extreme.

2 Why Explore. Finding, is reserved for the seekers. We are used to hear that beauty is obvious, and all around us, yet this is not always the case. Exploration, does not need to be extreme. The definition of exploration is basically synonymous with the human drive to see more, to be there, first. Truly inspired humans, love to learn, not so much to earn, but to explore their innate capacities. No exploration is ever complete, unless is shared. Our goal, is to expand what is defined as all around us.

Why Greece. Greece is famous for its historic wrecks, for its temperate waters and great visibility that attracts divers from all over the world. But cave diving, has been a rare, local activity.

In Greece you can find more than natural caves, subterranean and underwater. They were created as a result of the country s rich geological structure and natural history, formed both on the mainland and on the islands. Some of these caves have yielded vessels, bones, rock paintings, jewels and traces of fire, as well as a host of other findings attesting to a very early human presence. Many of them are still unexplored until now.

Why Top2Bottom. Our team, is an organic integration of passionate people, from a variety of disciplines. All extremely qualified in their fields, who came together joined by their love for nature.

An experienced team of trained cave divers specializing in filming and editing, collaborating with scientists, film makers, composers and script writers, utilizing a blend of cutting edge technology and modern social media applications. Our films, aim to report to the scientific community. But our main goal is to educate the general public, regarding what cave diving is all about and its global importance.

5 Meet the team. Andreas Andrikopoulos Stratis Kas. Nikolas Margaritis Matteo Ratto Vassilis Tsiairis Andreas is a passionate technical diver who chooses to address his passion in cave exploration and historical wrecks. When Andreas is out of the water, he works as manufacturing production manager in industrial unit. An award winning film maker, photographer and magazine publisher, Stratis has dived all around the world, seeking for new emotions and visual stimuli. He is a full cave instructor, a vegetarian cat lover who lives in Antiparos, Greece. Nikolas is a nature explorer, he holds a MSc in chemistry and works as regional clinical operations manager. He is mostly interested in citizen science and ecology and he is the underwater filmmaker of the team. Matteo is a software developer. He likes cave diving around Europe to find the most beautiful caves. He is working to teach technical diving and improve awareness in diving on deep, wrecks, caves and mines. Vassilis grew up in the island of Corfu and was attracted to the underwater world from an early age. So he studied marine sciences and became experienced in scientific diving. Later on he specialized in underwater archaeology.

Our story. Top2bottom was founded in April of 2016 and results are already exceeding our initial expectations. Our first Video, about a sea cave in the Cyclades, went viral on Vimeo.

As a result of that interest, we were invited to introduce Greek Cave diving at the TEKDIVE Europe 2017 conference in Belgium. This effort was supported by a wide range of companies and institutions that got inspired from our ethics, our work quality and our vision. The Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT), Aegean Airlines, Blue Star Ferries, the Antiparos Municipality, Jeep Cars, Blanchet Swiss watches and many top diving companies are just some of them.

7 Amphitrite film. The sea cave of Amphitrite, between the Cycladic islands of Paros and Antiparos, is very special. It s a solution cave, in which a diver will come across an atypical wide variety and huge quantity of speleothems, as results of deposits of cave minerals, that took place in the past. Impressive formations, in various sizes and forms are reminding the visitors of typical Mexican and Caribbean caves. Divers will also come across huge draperies, flow stones and massive columns (more than 20m high). One of the most unique characteristics of this cave are the snow white valleys and cliffs, results of millennia of gypsum deposits. In August of 2017 we filmed our first documentary (32 ), called Amphitrite. 8 What s next. Our team is already planning our next project: 4 Caves, 4 Seasons We envision a journey throughout Greece s distinguished four seasons, with the aim of filming four very different Greek caves and displaying them in combination with the cultural heritage and natural beauty of their wider region. Candidate caves for this unique mission are located in the Peloponnese area. Info: We plan for at least 16 diving days (4 per cave). Preparation of the mission begins in December 2017 and filming will occur during the four seasons of We will present our new documentary at: LOT INTERNATIONAL CAVE DIVING CONGRESS, in France.

10 Why you? Cave diving expeditions, are equipment and resources demanding. Very similar to Space exploration, when it comes to carrying a source of breathable gas supply, all the necessary tools and backup equipment in order to face any in the field failure, cave diving does not enjoy the same budget standards. No team is complete, no project is ever successful without the support of visionary, pioneering individuals and companies that make human progress possible. Always looking to expand, we are open to new collaborations with whom we share the same driving force behind our modus operandi.
