1 SAN DIEGO-IMPERIAL SWIMMING 2019 LONG COURSE SEASON MEET BID PACKAGE Attached is the San Diego-Imperial Swimming 2019 long course swim meet schedule as approved by the SI Swimming Program Committee, and the approved format for each meet. The application form to be used to bid for any meets your club wishes to host is also attached; a separate application is required for each meet that you bid upon. All bids must be received by the SI Registrar, to: office@si-swimming.org, by 2:30 pm on Wednesday, January 23, They may also be mailed to: San Diego Imperial Swimming, PO Box 1347, Fallbrook CA The Meet Bid Form must be filled out completely, and Proof of Water must be received with the bid in order for the bid to be considered. If you bid on more than one meet, indicate which meets you would accept if you are awarded more than one. Also, if you bid on more than one meet, indicate your priority for your choices (1, 2, 3, etc.). Traditional meets must be specifically requested. Please include the start times of each session. The Program Committee will meet on Wednesday, January 23 at 8:00 p.m. at Filippi s Pizza Restaurant & Bar, 5353 Kearny Villa Rd, San Diego CA. To select meet hosts from the bids received. If you wish to present additional information about your bid or to be available to answer any questions about your bid, you are welcome to attend the meeting for that purpose. Some of the criteria (but not necessarily all of them) used to select bids are: Physical Facility (appropriateness of pool, warm-up area, rest areas, spectator areas, etc.) Prior history of the club with respect to meet operations and compliance with SI Swimming's administrative requirements (timely submission of reports, fees, etc.). Bid/Host Teams are in good financial standing with SI Swimming and USA Swimming. Any changes to the formats must be included with the bid packet.
