1 Warriors of Warrington Percy Mason Memorial Meet Gala Information and Rules The competition will be held under ASA Laws and ASA Technical Rules of Swimming and is licensed by the ASA at Level 3, Licence Number 3NW It is open to all swimmers who are members of a club affiliated to the ASA or to the relevant national governing body if this is not the ASA. Swimmers with disabilities are welcomed although separate events will not be offered and swimmers will be included within the results for their age group. Swimmers disability classification must be stated on the entry form. Failure to do so may render the swimmer liable for disqualification for non-compliance with the rules for a particular stroke. Date Saturday 28th November and Sunday 29 th November 2015 Venue Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, Jubilee Way, Orford, Warrington, WA2 8HE Telephone: There is ample free parking available. The Livewire café will be open serving hot and cold food and will close after the breaks between sessions. Pool Age Groups Events 8 lane, deck level, 25 metre with anti-wave lane ropes and electronic timing. 9,10,11,12,13,14,15/o. Age as at 29 th November Free, Back, Fly, Breast 100 Free, Back, Fly, Breast (9 year olds are not permitted to swim 100m events) 200 Free, Back, Fly, Breast 200 Individual Medley Programme as per attached schedule. Warm up and sessions times may be amended once final swimmer numbers are known. The one start rule will apply and over the top starts will be used. Events will be swum as integrated age groups with seeding by submitted times. Costs 5.00 per event per coach pass. Clubs with 10 or more swimmers will be awarded one free coach pass providing that they have paid for at least one pass. No more than 3 adults per club will be allowed on poolside as space is limited. Cheques should be made payable to Warriors of Warrington. Bank details for electronic payment Santander Sort code Medals/Awards Medals will be presented to the top 6 swimmers in each age group. All events are heat declared winner. Awards will also be presented for Top

Qualifying times are not required but must not exceed the upper limit stated. If a swimmer has not achieved a time for an event, a coach s estimate should be used for the purposes of seeding. Closing Date Friday 30 th October 2015 Entries Rejections Withdrawals Data Protection Shop Admission We prefer electronic entry using Hy-Tek Team Manager software. Please download the entry file from our website or request via from homegalas@wowsc.org.uk. Payment should be submitted within 5 days of electronic entry to the address provided below. If you prefer to submit entries by paper, please download the entry form from the website or request via and post to: Adam and Alison Smeltzer, 53 Newbridge Close, Warrington, Cheshire, WA5 9EA. Late entries will not be accepted. Poolside entries can only be accepted during sessions 1 and 2 for events in sessions 3 and 4. Poolside entries cannot be accepted for events in sessions 1 and 2. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or made without the correct entry fee may be rejected. Entries that are faster than the upper limit times will be rejected. The promoter also reserves the right to reject entries if the meet is over-subscribed. Priority will be given to members of Warriors of Warrington swimming club. If rejections are made, these will be proportional to the entries received for each age group. Confirmation of accepted and rejected entries will be posted to the club website. Refunds for rejected entries will be made in the first instance, at the meet. Uncollected refunds will then be made by post to the club. The gala will run cardless with a withdrawal system in operation. Any swimmer wishing to withdraw from an event must follow the withdrawal procedures which will be posted on the club website. Entries for this meet will be held on computer and results will be submitted to the ASA Rankings Service. Under the Data Protection Act 1998 permission to hold personal data will be deemed to have been given by submission of an entry. A Swim Shop will be available during the meet. Spectator admission will be 3.00 per adult per session with children under 16 admitted free. Meet programmes will be 3.00 to cover all sessions. Please note that spectator seating is limited. Spectators are politely asked to use all available seating on a first come first served basis and not to save seats for people arriving later, or for storing bags etc. If your swimmer has finished their events could we please ask you to vacate your seat to allow others to watch their swimmers in later events. Alternative seating is provided in the Livewire café but again this is limited.

3 Warriors of Warrington Percy Mason Memorial Meet Gala Information and Rules Security Photography Disputes Any other matters You are advised not to leave any clothing or other articles unattended as neither the Promoter nor the Pool Management can accept responsibility for loss or damage. Any person wishing to take photographs during the gala on a camera or phone must provide proof of identity and complete the register at the spectator admission desk. A pass will then be issued which must be clearly displayed whenever the photography equipment is being used. There may be an official photographer at the meet and by entering the meet you accept that your Swimmer may be photographed. Photographs will be offered for sale at the meet and on-line. Access to on-line event photography is controlled via the use of a log-in ID and password. If you do not want your swimmer to be photographed under any circumstances please inform the promoter before the meet begins. The Referee s decision will be final on all matters relating to Swimming and Swimmer discipline. Any matters not covered by the above conditions will be at the discretion of the Promoter.
