This letter, which includes all the Fact Sheet, General Information concerning the Event, contains important details that should be brought to the attention of the Team Captain as well as the players. 3 Nominations of Teams by Affiliated Associations Affiliated bodies must nominate minimum two players and maximum 4 players in a team including the Playing/Non-Captain/Coach and Captain/Coach should be of the same gender. Eligibility No Player born on or after 1st January 2005 will be allowed to participate. Rules AITA / ITF Team Competition Rules & Regulations will be followed. Identification Player must have Valid AITA Membership and carry the Original AITA Registration Card. Travel of the team to Bhilai & back will be the responsibility of individual State Associations. Hospitality will be provided by Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association at Bhilai Hotel (Bhilai Niwas) next to Civic Centre, Bhilai. Nearest Railway Stations: Bhilai Railway Station (Approx 7Kms), Durg Railway Station (Approx 10 Kms), Raipur Jn (31 Kms) Nearest Airport: Swami Vivekananda Airport Raipur Airport (Approx 56Kms) Tennis Balls Wilson Australian Open Format of play Depending on the number of States taking part, the teams will be split into groups. Round Robin format will be followed initially till the Semi Final stage which will then be a knock out. The two teams left after the semi finals will be awarded Bronze Medals. Each tie will consist of two Singles & one Doubles which shall be played on the same court as follows:- Rank 2 player of one team Vs the Rank 2 player of other team, Rank 1 player of one team Vs Rank 1 player of other team followed by the Doubles match. The Doubles match must be played even if the score is 2-0, unless otherwise decided by the referee. The exact format can be decided once we know the number of participating teams. There is no Position Match. Match Format All matches will be played for best of three tie break sets for Singles. For Doubles it will be 2 sets & 10 point match with tie break at 1-1 set with no-ad scoring.

4 Team Nominations The Captain must provide the referee with the composition of the teams on the nomination form which will be distributed at the Captains meeting. No changes in teams will be permitted after submission of the nomination form. Order of merit will be determined by the AITA Ranking available on the website. The ranking of non ranked players will be decided by the captain. Each day the Captains are to give singles & doubles nominations 30 minutes before start of play. The Doubles nominations may be changed 10 minutes after the end of the second singles match at the Referee Office. After nomination deadlines players may only be replaced in case of injury or illness (on medical advice) or bereavement. SEEDING The seeding of the teams is based on the two most highly ranked singles players in each team, based on the latest available AITA Singles Ranking at the time of Captains meeting. ORDER OF PLAY -The Order of Play will be issued daily by the Referee and will be posted on-site. OFFICIALS - Chair umpires will be provided from first round onwards. BALL KIDS - Two Ball kids will be provided for all matches from first round onwards. PRACTICE - Captains can sign on the Practice Court sheet which would be released by the Referee daily, at the Referee Office. PRACTICE BALLS - Will be available at the help desk, next to the Referee Office. RESULTS - Results will be ed to all participating State Associations. WATER - Water Filters are located around the complex. STRINGING - Stringing will be available at the venue at a reasonable cost. MEDICAL - A Sports Medicine Trainer will be on site during the matches. Teams must have medical insurance in the event of requiring hospital and doctor's treatment.
