1 U14 Power League Qualifier Sunday, January 13, 2019 Playing Sites: & University HS Start Time: 8:00 am doors 7:00 am Coaches Meeting: 7:30 am GENERAL TEAMS WILL BE RESEEDED AFTER ROUND 1 POOL PLAY AND MAY MOVE SITES. DON T SETUP A FULL CAMP AREA UNTIL AFTER ROUND 1 TO EXPEDITE MOVING SITES & PLAY STARTING ON SCHEDULE. Food can be brought into the facility, but no plug-in devices are allowed. Please clean up your messes! Tables are OK. Please make sure to find the tournament director before you leave so we can assure that reffing assignments are covered and your team has submitted payment for the remainder of the events. (Power League or Alternate Tourneys) NO GUM on courts! WATER ONLY (no food/other drinks) IS ALLOWED ON THE PLAYING SURFACE THIS INCLUDES THE SCORER S TABLE!! Sports drinks are NOT water and are sticky when spilled. No pets are allowed in the facility. Please supervise all children. POWER LEAGUE QUALIFER FORMAT Warm-ups are 5-5 for the first two rounds of pool play, and then 3-3 after that. Serving must be done within this time. Official and Referee Information: R1 s will be provided for all pool matches R2 s may be provided as available. Teams must provide R2 s, line judges and scorekeeping crews. Championship games of each bracket will be provided officials in the R1, R2 & line judge positions. Teams must provide scorekeeping crews.

2 Prizes: ALL TEAMS WHO QUALIFY WILL RECEIVE A SMALL PRIZE SO CHECK IN WITH SITE DIRECTOR BEFORE LEAVING TO CLAIM PRIZE AS WELL. Round 1 Pool Play ALL TEAMS WILL PLAY TWO teams within their assigned pool. 4 team pools will NOT play all the teams in their pool. FOLLOW THE MATCH SCHEDULE PROVIDED! ALL START TIMES ARE APPROX. GAMES WILL BEGIN IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED MATCH. ALL ROUND 1 sets are to 25 NO CAP After Round 1 teams will be ranked according to their set percentage and point percentage to be reseeded into Round 2 pools. Round 2 Pool Play 4 TEAM Pool play matches are the best 2/3 with no cap. 3 TEAM Pool play will play 3 sets to 25 with no cap. This is to guarantee ALL teams play at least 6 sets. ALL START TIMES ARE APPROX. GAMES WILL BEGIN IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED MATCH. Teams who finish 1 st & 2 nd in their pool will qualify for Power League Teams who finish 3 rd in their pool will be ranked based on the set percentage & then point percentage to determine the last 2 spots in Power League. Teams who finish 4 th in their pool will NOT qualify for Power League Results Results will be updated throughout the day and are available on AES. Seeding for the next Tournament Teams will be ranked 1-16 based on the Round 2 pool play to determine seeding for the 1/27/19 Power League tournament. Please read through this very carefully. This is very important information regarding the steps for payment towards the remaining Power League tournaments & Alternate tournaments along with registration into those events. ALL teams MUST leave payment with the ERVA Site Director to either the remainder of Power League or for the Alternate Tournaments prior to leaving the gym & AFTER they know which event (s) they have qualified for.

3 1. Please send printed checks with the payment information below with your coaches if you will NOT be at the event to write checks on site. a. Please have payments ready to leave with the site directors prior to your team leaving. b. Teams who do NOT provide payment before they leave will be assessed a LATE FEE. i. $150 late fee will be assessed if payment is NOT submitted BEFORE leaving. c. You MUST have the following checks ready to submit BEFORE you leave the gym. 2. On Monday, 1/14/19 I will register those non-qualifying teams into the alternate tournaments & send those tournament directors all the payments.
