Scope of Wok and Tems & Conditions fo the above sevices ae given in Annex-I. 4. The technical s shall consist of compliance with the Scope of Wok/ Sevices fo the listed paametes. Disclosing of Calibation Chages in Technical shall be summaily ejected. 5. The Commecials s shall consist of Calibation Chages fo the listed paametes including Discount o any additional chages and/o applicable tax (if any). 6. The technical s shall be opened in the Confeence Hall, of the Cental Lab, at the addess mentioned above at 1530 h on 30 August 2011 and in the pesence of such tendees o thei duly authoized epesentatives, who may like to attend. 7. 3 Technical ANNEXURE-I Intoduction BIS Cental Laboatoy, Sahibabad is a National Standads Testing Laboatoy cateing the independent testing equiements of its appoximately 37 banch offices and moe than licensees acoss the county. Mechanical Section of Cental Laboatoy intends to awad calibation sevices fo the vaious equipments to the competent outside agencies: SCOPE OF WORK & TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The Sevices of Calibation of Equipments with NABL Logo o with the Standads Taceable to National / Intenational Standads is to be povided fo the Equipments available in Mechanical Laboatoy, Cental Lab, BIS, Sahibabad, Dist. Ghaziabad fo one yea which may be extended fo futhe one yea based on the quality of sevice povided by. 2. The Calibation Lab shall be accedited with NABL, List of Equipments ae enclosed at. 3. The Calibation Cetificates shall be issued in the fomats as pe IS/ISO/IEC The Measuement Uncetainty shall be calculated and epoted at each calibation point. 5. The Calibation Validity shall not be mentioned in the Calibation Cetificates. It is to be decided by the use. 6. Facility of Pick & Dop of Equipments/ Instuments and Calibation Cetificates shall be fee without any chage. 7. No additional chages shall be paid fo On-Site Calibation. 8. All possible cae shall be taken by the Sevice Povide in handling/ tanspotation to avoid any damage of the Equipments/ Instuments. 9. Any damage, mal-functioning o eo beyond limit shall be infomed immediately to the use lab befoe stating the Calibation Wok. 10. Adjustment of Zeo setting shall be done by the Sevice Povide befoe calibation. 11. The Equipments/ Instuments shall be sealed popely and labeled with Calibation Stickes. 12. The Sevice Povide shall mention the Time fo Calibation. 13. The Sevice Povide is to send the Scope of NABL Acceditation fo the facility available as pe ou equiement. 14. The Sevice Povide shall have valid Sevice Tax Registation and details of the same be povided in Technical bid. 15. All the biddes ae advised to visit BIS Cental Laboatoy fo pe bid discussions in ode to get familia with the quantum/volume of the wok involved. 16. The selection of the suitable fim shall be made by a thee membe committee constituted by the Competent Authoity fo the pupose. The committee scutinizes the obtained bids based on competency, expeience and the pice

4 quoted by. Recommendations of the committee shall be acceptable to the biddes in all cicumstances. 17.
