No real surprises, with most of the favourites taking the points. The Roos demolished Richmond in Tassie on Friday night. Hawthorn had a hard-fought win over Melbourne, the Blues continued their steady form with victory over the Lions and Geelong edged out the Giants by just 10 points. Saturday night saw an easy win for the Swans over the Suns and... wait for it... the Dockers had a win! Congratulations to Freo, who have their first points of the season. No longer will they be referred to as the Buckleys Chance (Mr Wakeling) of the AFL! On Sunday, Port thrashed Collingwood, the Bulldogs hung on against a fastfinishing West Coast, and the Crows thumped the Saints in Adelaide. It is very tight at the top of the Holy Family Tipping competition, with only 4 points between 1st and 15th. Don t lose focus, there is still half a season to go! Good luck to all Tipsters this week! 3 HOLY FAMILY DISCo GOSSIP It was great to see so many of our children busting a move on the dance floor last Friday night. This is the 3rd year we have run the disco and it doesn t seem to disappoint. A very big thank you to Lisa and Angela for organising such a wonderful night and to all the volunteers who helped out, We can t say thank you enough.
