The City of Bell Gardens is proud to offer team competitive programs and services for the community. Small Fry Basketball Small Fry Basketball is quickly approaching and will be offered to boys and girls ages 4 through 7. The program will consist of two co-ed divisions, one for ages 4-5 and another for ages 6-7. This basketball program is designed for beginners. Most traditional basketball rules will be modified to fit participants' attention span and sensory motor skills, while establishing the objective of the game. Emphasis will be placed on dribbling, shooting, passing, teamwork, and most importantly having fun! Score is not kept, everyone is a Winner! The program fee includes a team jersey and a participation trophy. The remaining uniform items will be optional and available prior to the start of games.
