Digital Storytelling sponsored by Rocky Mountain Tribal Leaders Council on Thursday, April 5 th, 8:00 to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, April 6 th, 8:00 to 4:30 p.m. Location TBA Live Concert in Petro Theater on Friday, April 6 th, 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. Scatter Their Own, is an Alter-Native Rock Duo of Oglala Lakota ancestry from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Arterial Drive, a local Billings band will open for Scatter Their Own. Save Our Sisters Dress Exhibit by Marita Growning Thunder in Alterowitz gym during the powwow. Exhibit hours are 6:00 to 10:00 on Friday, April 6 th and noon to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7 th. 3 200 volunteers including students, staff, faculty, and community members will host the powwow that serves an audience of 2,800 over two days for a total of 22 event hours. Two tables are $ for the weekend. VIP Reserved Seating Elders: Elders are welcome to bring their own chairs. Elders 65 and older are invited to sit in the VIP Elder area. One care attendant may join you. No children are allowed in this special seating section. College students will serve as your hosts to provide treats, comfort items, and gifts throughout the powwow. 5 Grandparents with Children: The first section of the lower bleachers at the entrance to the gym are reserved for grandparents with children. Event staff will help direct you to this reserved section of seating. Mobility Empowered: The floor area on the northwest side of the gym is reserved for persons with mobility equipment such as wheel chairs. The space is very limited.
