4 From the Office of the President February 2017 We have another month until the official end of winter, but I did get to take the Corvette out a few weeks ago. Sue s car was going to be in the shop for a week and I was going to be out of town that week for work. Sue got to experience winter driving in my truck and I got to experience driving the Corvette in cold weather on my way to the airport. It wasn t as bad as I thought it would be. Maybe I should put snow tires on the Corvette and drive it all year. On Sunday, February 19 th, NRL is invited to race die cast cars with the Chicago Corvette Club at Oak Street Grill in North Aurora. It sounds like a fun event. The flyer is in this issue. Also the Midwest Region NCCC is holding their annual award banquet on Saturday, April 1 st. Linda Fairlamb was the #1 lady in the Midwest Region last year! Come to the banquet and cheer her on. The flyer for the banquet is this issue as well. Happy Motoring and remember to Save the Wave. Patrick Lopardo President Northern Rays LTD.
