The biggest of the hits for Saez came in the bottom of the fourth, when the Fisher Cats scored five times. Saez ripped a three-run double off reliever Konner Wade. Luis Santos picked up his first win at the Double-A level in his second start, working six innings for the Fisher Cats. April by the Numbers TODAY S STARTER: John Anderson takes the bump for the Fisher Cats in his third start of the 2016 season Wednesday. Anderson got the win in his last start Friday, allowing just four hits and two walks in 5.2 innings while whiffing five. The southpaw spent nearly all of last season with the Fisher Cats, making 28 appearances (20 starts) en route to a 6-6 record with New Hampshire. He holds a career record of with a 4.34 ERA in 129 games. WILD WALK-OFF WACKINESS: The Fisher Cats walk-off win Thursday night was a historic occurrence, as it marks the first time they ve won a home opener in walk-off fashion in team history. The last time the Fisher Cats won a game with a walk-off hit was July 18, 2015, when Roemon Fields singled home Jack Murphy to defeat the Portland Sea Dogs. The Fisher Cats went 2-23 with runners in scoring position Monday night---and were 5-50 (.100) in their three-game losing streak. On Tuesday, the Fisher Cats went 5-13 with runners in scoring position. SPEED KILLS: The Fisher Cats have run wild on the bases in 2016, with a league-best 21 steals in 26 attempts over their first 10 games. Jon Berti leads the way with eight steals (tops in the league), and Roemon Fields has six (third place). In 2015, the Fisher Cats stole just 19 bases between April and May. FISHER CATS ALUMNI REPORT Marcus Stroman earned his third win with seven strong innings in a 4-3 win for the Toronto Blue Jays over the Baltimore Orioles. Brett Cecil recorded his fourth hold.
