2 YTD Expenses: $15, YTD Income: $40, Checking Balance: Motion to Accept: $93, Lawhorn Second: Nardo PRESIDENTS REPORT Ed reminded all of the importance of following our P.O. system for spending/ Gave an update on NALL using West Park school for practices and games for T-ball and minors. We will need to have a field day there to bring it into shape. Practice schedules this year will be on line. Division VP Reports Treasurer Presented a recommendation to be able to use credit/debit cards in the concession stand. Cost is $400 initial and $5/month. Jr/Sr Expect to have 2 Jr teams and 2 Sr teams Majors Interleague schedule. We will play 3 Midway teams and 4 Canal teams. NALL will play each other 3 times for a total of 16 games. Minor AA/AAA We will have 4 teams in each Div. Are looking into possible interleave play. Minor A/Tball Will have 3 teams in each Div. COMMITTEE OTHER REPORTS

3 Safety The ASAP plan is completed. A safety clinic for coaches is set for March 12th. Every team must have at least one coach attend. Umpire Will be conducting a clinic soon. He is still looking at using paid vs volunteer umpires. Maint. Reported that a recent power at the VFW field was a city transformer and is fixed. Concession Working on raffle tickets to distribute to teams. Sponsorship Expects to have all teams covered with sponsors plus field signs. Equipment Still working on uniforms,problems with getting the teams we want due to a problem with the manufacturer. Majestic lost their contract with MLB. Equipment distribution is scheduled for 6pm Player Agent -Tryouts are completed and everything is ready for the drafts on 3/6 Information Still working on switching the league to Blue Sombrero. Rules Chairman-Presented the final version of the 2017 Local Rules for board approval. V.P.-Admin. Reported on a meeting with NALL, Newark Charter School and the City of Newark. The purpose was to finish the lease between NALL and Charter School for their use of Hill Field. Scott Johnson s report: Hill Field Usage Update - NCS Owed for 2016 $700 3/3 Mtg. NALL Ed K, Scott J, Jim H NCS: Greg S, City of Newark: Joe S and Paula M Goal: To set up conditions for long term agreement Agreed upon pending NALL Board and NCS approval: -$10 per practice and $25 per game -50% to be paid in advance and remaining balance to be settled as soon season is over. NCS and NALL will track field usage to determine final total. -Included in above fees: Grass cutting and maintenance, tractor for dragging,port-a-pot and general field tools (tamp, rake, broom, drags, etc) -NOT included: Pitching machine, line marking(chalk, etc), diamond dry -Authorized NCS to place a job box for field supplies -Signage opportunity -Pitching Machine Rental: $100 per month -NCS will send monthly report on field usage by the 7 th of the following month -Parking Lot Update -UD Club Usage being negotiated by Ed K

Motion by: Lutes Second by: Laporte Accept the terms of the lease agreement with Newark Charter Motion by: Laporte Seconded Hudson Motion Adopt the 2017 local rules as presented Motion by: Johnson Seconded -Lutes Motion passed Change the current method of selecting players for the majors division to Draft method C in the L.L. manual at the end of the 2017 season. Draft method C is a complete redraft of all retuning players using a blind draft. Motion by Laporte Seconded Johnson There was a lengthy discussion on the pros and cons of the draft methods.
