The games will be made up as part of a doubleheader, with game one beginning at 5:05 and game two beginning 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest. West Virginia won in walk-off fashion Sunday afternoon by a 5-4 final. West Virginia loaded the bases for Josh Bell who hit a sacrifice fly to right field that was dropped, allowing Moroff to score easily from third. LET S PLAY TWO...AGAIN: Tonight s game is the sixth doubleheader for the Power this season and West Virginia has another on their road trip during the weekend series in Lexington. The Power are currently 6-4 this season when they play two in one day. This is the third straight year the Power have played six doubleheaders. The most doubleheaders West Virginia played in a single season is 10 in 2009 when the Power went The fewest number of doubleheaders the Power had in one year was one back in WVP Hitting- WVP Pitching- G 4 W-L 4-0 HOMESTAND STATISTICS AVG..286 AB 136 H 39 R 23 ERA 2.00 IP 36.0 LEXINGTON GAMES ANNOUNCED: West Virginia s suspended game against the Lexington Legends from July 6th will be completed Thursday in Lexington at 5:05 to a full nine innings. Thursday s regularly scheduled game between the Power and Legends will be a seven-inning affair 30 minutes after. The Legends will be the visiting team for game one, and the home team for the second game. Saturday s game will also be a doubleheader with game one starting at 5:35 and game two beginning 30 minutes make up for the July 7th postponed game in Charleston. CAN T TOUCH THIS: West Virginia s bullpen has not given up a single run during this homestand. The Power relievers have pitched 17.1 consecutive scoreless innings dating back to Monday. The pen owns a record of this season with an ERA of INTIMIDATION FACTOR: With Sunday s win, the Power are 8-0 this season against the Intimidators. After winning all eight games this year, The Power lead the all-time series by one game.. West Virginia is outscoring Kannapolis this year and the team is batting.277 against the Intimidators with an ERA of BREAK THE WALLS DOWN: After beginning July with an 0-5 record and scoring five runs in those games, the Power are 8-3 since and are outscoring opponents in those 11 games. West Virginia has plated a total of 52 runs in July. The Power s lowest run total in a single month this season came in June, where they collected 132. GLASNOW AND HEREDIA TAKES THE BUMP: West Virginia will send Tyler Glasnow to the mound for game one, aiming for his seventh win this year. Glasnow is seven strikeouts shy of leading the South Atlantic League League in that category. C.J. Edwards is the current leader at 122, but was traded to the Cubs yesterday as part of the Matt Garza deal. Luis Heredia will pitch game two against the Intimidators. Heredia won his Power debut June 23rd at home and has made four starts on the road, going 0-2 with a 6.31 ERA in those four games. PROMO UPDATE: AUGUST 1ST- NFL NIGHT: This 7:05 game against the Lakewood BlueClaws is a Thirsty Thursday and will feature an appearance by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. POWER POINTS: The Power collected their 50th win of the season Wednesday night, matching the third fastest club in franchise history to reach the benchmark West Virginia Power Caleb Gindl hit a walk-off home run for the Brewers Sunday against Miami...Josh Bell has the longest current hitting streak for the Power at six games.
