MEDICAL MATTERS Yesterday Nathan Eovaldi underwent arthroscopic surgery to remove loose bodies in his right elbow the surgery was performed by Dr. Koco Eaton in St. Petersburg he is expected to resume pitching activities in 8-10 weeks. RAY MATTER Yesterday s loss snapped the Rays winning streak at 5 games, dating back to last Sep 28 it matched their longest winning streak under Manager Kevin Cash (also April 22-26, 2015) the Rays played a 1-0 game for the first time since July 8, 2017 vs. BOS, and lost a 1-0 game for the first time since Sep 28, 2016 at CWS it was their first shut out since Sep 9, 2017 at BOS and first at home since Aug 12, 2017 vs. CLE.
